Բունդեսթագի որոշումը կարող է էական նշանակություն ունենալ Թուրքիայում քաղաքացիական հասարակության զարգացման համար, որն էլ անմիջական ազդեցություն կունենա հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունների կարգավորման հարցում: Բունդեսթագի որոշումից հետո Թուրքիայում հետաքրքիր քաղաքացիական ակտիվություն և շարժ նկատվեց: Հունիսի 21-ին նման կարծիք հայտնեց ԵՊՀ արևելագիտության ֆակուլտետի փոխդեկան Ռուբեն Մելքոնյանը վերջի օրերին Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչմանը նվիրված կլոր սեղանի ժամանակ: Այդ կարծիքը կիսեց նաև գլոբալիզացիայի և տարածաշրջանային համագործակցության վերլուծական կենտրոնի ղեկավար Ստեփան Գրիգորյանը՝ նշելով, որ հասարակական ակտիվությունը շատ կարևոր է հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունների զարգացման համար, և հասարակական մակարդակով շփումներ պահպանելն ուղղակի անհրաժեշտ են:
«Պաշտոնական մակարդակով Թուրքիայից որևէ ակնկալիք չպետք է ունենալ, պետք է շարունակել հասարակական և գիտական ոլորտներում շփումները: Թուրքական հասարակության մեջ Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ հակասություններ կան: Թուրքիայում էլ կան մարդիկ, ովքեր ընդունում են Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, և նրանց հետ աշխատանքներ պետք է տարվեն»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ ՝ասաց Ստեփան Գրիգորյանը:
«Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագի կողմից ընդունած այս որոշումը Ահմեդ Դավութօղլուի հեռանալուց հետո առաջին լուրջ փորձությունն էր Թուրքիայի համար արտաքին քաղաքականության մեջ: Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն ավելի լայն հանրայնացում ստացավ Բունդեսթագի կողմից ընդունվելուց հետո: Այդ որոշման մեջ կա մի կարևոր ակնարկ կամ հորդոր, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին պետք է գրվի դասագրքերում և ներկայացվի, որպես համամարդկային չարիք: Ես կարծում եմ, որ Բունդեսթագի կողմից ընդունած որոշումը կունենա շարունակական բնույթ»,-ասաց Ռուբեն Մելքոնյանը:
Մելքոնյանի կարծիքով, հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունները տեսանելի ապագայում հույս չեն ներշնչում, քանի որ Թուրքիայի նախագահը ուզում է մեր տարածաշրջանում առկա հակասությունները խորացնել:
