Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս պապը նախապատրաստում է դժվարին այց Հայաստան` առաջ տանելով Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի հետ հաշտեցումը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է«Արմենպրես»-ը, այս խորագրով հոդված է հրապարակել իտալական RomeReports.com կայքը` անդրադառնալով Հռոմի պապի հայաստանյան այցին:
Կայքը գրում է, թե կաթոլիկ աշխարհի հոգևոր առաջնորդը նպատակ է ունեցել միևնույն ուղևորության շրջանակում այցելել թե Հայաստան, թե Ադրբեջան, սակայն ապրիլին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում բախումը կանխել է այցը: Արդյունքում, Հռոմի պապը կայցելի Հայաստան հունիսի 24-26-ը: Իսկ Ադրբեջան և Վրաստան Սրբազան քահանայապետը կլինի 2016 թվականի հոկտեմբերի սկզբին:
RomeReports-ը նշում է, որ առաջիկա այցի ընթացքում Հռոմի պապը կխոսի կովկասյան տարածաշրջանում լարվածության թուլացման մասին` ճանաչելով Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն ու թուլացնելով Հայաստանի ու Թուրքիայի միջև հարաբերություններում առկա լարվածությունը: Խոր Վիրապի եկեղեցուց նա ականտեսը կլինի փակված սահմանի և Արարատ լեռան հիանալի տեսարանին:

Նա նշել է, որ Հայ առաքելական և Կաթոլիկ եկեղեցիների միջև հարաբերությունները մշտապես բարձր մակարդակի վրա են եղել: Հռոմի պապի այցը ցույց է տալիս, որ Հռոմի եկեղեցին մոտ է բոլորին և հաստատում է, որ մեր միջև ոչ միայն ընկերություն է, այլև հավատքի և հարգանքի վրա հիմնված խորը հարաբերություններ»,- ընդգծել է հոգևորականը:
