Լեհաստանի Գդանսկ քաղաքի Ազգային թանգարանում հունիսի 16-ին մեկնարկել է «Հայկական սփյուռքի արվեստը» խորագրով երկրորդ միջազգային գիտաժողովը, որը կազմակերպվել է Համաշխարհային արվեստների ուսումնասիրության լեհական ինստիտուտի և Վարշավայի Կարդինալ Ստեֆան Վիշինսկու անվան համալսարանի կողմից:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, գիտաժողովի բացման արարողությանը մասնակցում էին Լեհաստանում ՀՀ դեսպան Էդգար Ղազարյանը, Գդանսկի Ազգային թանգարանի տնօրեն Վոյչեխ Բոնիսլավսկին, Համաշխարհային արվեստների ուսումնասիրության լեհական ինստիտուտի նախագահ, պրոֆեսոր Յեժի Մալինովսկին, Համաշխարհային արվեստների ուսումնասիրության լեհական ինստիտուտի փոխնախագահ, պրոֆեսոր Վալդեմար Դելուգան:

Իր ողջունի խոսքում դեսպան Ղազարյանը ընդգծել է Լեհաստանի կյանքում հայ համայնքի ունեցած նշանակալի դերակատարումը, այդ թվում՝ մշակութային ժառանգության հարստացման առումով:

Գիտաժողովի շրջանակներում զեկույցներով հանդես են եկել Հայաստանի, ԱՄՆ-ի, Սերբիայի, Ֆրանսիայի, Միացյալ Թագավորության, Հունգարիայի, Ուկրաինայի, Բելառուսի, Լեհաստանի և այլ երկրների համալսարանների գիտնականներ, որոնք անդրադարձել են տարբեր երկրներում և ժամանակաշրջաններում հայերի կողմից ստեղծված մշակութային ժառանգությանը:
