«ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախկին փոխնախարար Վահան Շիրխանյանը, որը «զինված հանցավոր» խմբի գործով արդեն 7 ամիս է՝ գտնվում է կալանքի տակ, քառօրյա պատերազմից հետո՝ մայիսի 20-ին, բաց նամակ է գրել ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանին: Սակայն նամակը օրերս է հասել իր հարազատներին: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին փոխանցված նամակը ուղղված է ՀՀ ՊՆ Սեյրան Օհանյանին, քանի որ հենց նա է ՀՀ սահմանների պատասխանատուն: Նամակում Շիրխանյանն անդրադարձել է այն լուրերին, ըստ որոնց՝ ՀՀ բարձրագույն ղեկավարությունը պատրաստ է ազատագրված տարածքները հանձնել Ադրբեջանին:

Շիրխանյանը զգուշացրել է, թե այդ դեպքում ինչպիսի զարգացումներ կարող են լինել:

Նա մասնավորապես զգուշացնում է.

«1.Զինուժի դուրս բերմանը և հողերի հանձնմանը հետևելու է Արցախի հայաթափումը և դրա «խաղաղ» հանձնումը թշնամուն: Ոչ մի միջազգային երաշխիք ի վիճակի չի լինի դա կանխել:

2.Հայաստանի սահմանակից հողերի հանձնումը թշնամուն անկայունացնելու է Զանգեզուրը, Սևանի ավազանը՝ բազմապատկելով արտագաղթը Հայաստանից:

3.Հայությունը և Հայաստանը կորցնելու է ոչ միայն արժանապատվությունը, այլև զարգացման հեռանկարները:

4.Հայաստանում հաստատվելու է Թուրքիայի ֆինանսական, տնտեսական, քաղաքական իշխանությունը, չէ՞ որ Հայաստանը լիովին կապված կլինի սահմանի բացման համար Թուրքիայի առաջ քաշած բոլոր նախապայմաններից:

5.Հայոց պատմության մեջ գրանցվելու է մեծագույն դավաճանություն»,-գրում է թերթը:
