Կոնստանտին Տեր-Նակալյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Ֆրանցիսկոսը դարկազմիկ Պապ է։ Մենք՝ լինելով նրա ժամանակակիցը, դեռ չենք կարողանում ըստ արժանավույնս տեսնել նրան պատմության պրիզմայում, բայց լինելով 266-րդ Հռոմիկ պապը, ֆրանցիսկոսն արդեն հասցրել է իր պոպուլյարությամբ ու խարիզմայով այդ ցուցակում բացառիկ տեղ զբաղեցնել։

Ֆրանցիսկոսի ֆենոմենը կայանում է նրանում, որ ի տարբերություն իր շատ նախորդողների՝ նա, կարելի է ասել, ոչ պակաս պոպուլյար է քրիստոնեական այլ ճյուղերի դավանող երկրներում, քան հենց կաթոլիկ աշխարհում։ Ինչ-որ տեղ Ֆրանցիսկոսը ասես իսկական ռոք աստղ լինի, որովհետև կարողանում գերել ոչ միայն կաթոլիկների ու անգամ ոչ միայն հավատացյալ քրիստոնյաների, այլ միանգամայն աշխարհիկ մարդկանց սիմպատիան։ Որքան էլ տարօրինակ հնչի, բայց Ֆրանցիսկոսին համակրողների կարելի է գտնել նույնիսկ աթեիստների ու անհավատների շարքերում։

Ո՞րն է Ֆրանցիսկոս պապի գաղտնիքը։ Չգիտեմ։ Ես կաթոլիկ չեմ, թող ինձ ներեն կաթոլիկ ընկերները, բայց երբեք հիացած չեմ եղել պապական ինստիտուտի պատմությունով ու հատկապես՝ դրա վերջի հարյուր տարվա գործունեությամբ, տանել չեմ կարողացել Հովհաննես Պողոս պապին, բայց մի անբացատրելի համակրանք եմ տածում առ Ֆրանցիսկոս պապը։

Դե անբացատրելին ո՞րն է։ Որոշ ասպեկտներ իհարկե կարող եմ պատճառաբանել․ նա իրոք շատ դրական խարիզմա ունի, նրա դեմքը բարություն է ճառագում, նրա կերպարը շատ բաց է ու մարդասեր և առնվազն հանրությանը ներկայանալու մակարդակով նա կարողացել է սինթեզել այնպիսի կերպար, որն ասես քրիստոնեական առաքինությունների խտացրած մարմնավորում լինի։ Գուցե այս ընկալումը պարզեցված է և ինֆանտիլ, գուցե ես ինքս եմ դարձել Վատիկանի քարոզչության «զոհը», բայց ես գիտեմ մի բան․ Եկեղեցուն՝ Մեծ Եկեղեցուն, պետք են այսպիսի հովիվներ, ովքերը չեն վախենում քայլել ժամանակի ոգուն համընթաց և եթե այդ ոգին հուշում է, որ ամենապատրիարխալ ու ավանդական ինստիտուտի գլուխը պետք է փոխառի rockstar-ին բնորոշ տարրեր, ապա պետք է անել դա։

Ես ուրախ եմ, որ Ֆրանցիսկոս պապը Հայաստան է գալիս։
