«Երեկ` հունիսի 22-ին, շղթայական ավտովթար և վրաերթ է տեղի ունեցել Երևանում: Ժամը 22:30-ի սահմաններում Մյասնիկյան պողոտայում` «Բելաջիո» ռեստորանային համալիրի մոտ, Երևան քաղաքի Մոլդովական փողոցի բնակիչ, 22-ամյա Իշխան Ավետիսյանը իր վարած Opel մակնիշի 34 AՍ 969 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենայով ընդհարվել է` մինչ այդ նույն վայրում տեղի ունեցած ավտովթարի մասնակից, Կոտայքի մարզի Զովք գյուղի բնակիչ, 27-ամյա Մխիթար Օհանյանի վարած, սակայն կայանված վիճակում գտնվող Opel մակնիշի 34 MO 276 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենային:
Ինչպես դեպքի վայրից հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, բախման հետևանքով Մ. Օհանյանի Opel-ը առաջ է ընթացել և բախվել նույն ավտովթարի մասնակից, Երևան քաղաքի Շահումյան 6-րդ փողոցի բնակիչ, 24-ամյա Անդրանիկ Չափալյանի վարած, կայանված վիճակում գտնվող Mercedes մակնիշի 78 ZA 788 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենայի հետնամասին: Այդ ընթացքում վրաերթի են ենթարկվել վթարի հետ կապված, դեպքի վայր ժամանած «Նաիրի Ինշուրանս» ՍՊԸ-ի աշխատակիցներ, Երևան քաղաքի Արտաշատի խճուղի 1-ին նրբանցքի բնակիչ, 27-ամյա Դավիթ Սարգսյանը, Երևան քաղաքի Նար-Դոսի 1-ին նրբանցքի բնակիչ, 24-ամյա Ռոման Դավթյանը և վթարի մասնակից, ուղևորներ` Ի. Ավետիսյանը, Ռ. Դավթյանը, Մ. Օհանյանը , Դ. Սարգսյանը, ինչպես նաև Մ. Հայարապետյանը, ովքեր մարմնական վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել են Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորիչ բժշկական կենտրոն:
