Shabat.am-ը գրում է.
4 տարի առաջ մի երիտասարդ տղայի մոտ շաքարային դիաբետ ախտորոշեցին: Բժշկի հետ խորհրդակցելուց հետո, նրան ոչինչ չէր մնում, քան ինսուլինային թերապիա սկսել: Սակայն 2013 թվականին «The Edge of Science» կոչվող հեռուստաշոուին մասնակցելուց հետո նա որոշեց փոխել իր սննդակարգն ու անցնել հում մթերքների օգտագործմանը:
Առաջին բանը, որ նա արեց՝ բլենդեր գնելն էր: Չնայած առաջին շաբաթը բավականին դժվար էր, այնուամենայնիվ, նա կարճ ժամանակահատվածում սովորեցրեց օրգանիզմին միայն հում բանջարեղենին:
Հում բանջարեղեններ ուտելուց կարճ ժամանակ անց, երբ տղան արյան անալիզ հանձնեց, պարզվեց, որ արյան մեջ շաքարի մակարդակը զգալիորեն իջել է:
Այդ պահին նա որոշեց դադարեցնել ինսուլինի թերապիան:
25 օր տևած դիետայի շնորհիվ տղային հաջողվեց ոչ միայն՝ իջեցնել արյան մեջ շաքարի մակարդակը, այլև՝ զգալի նիհարել և ազատվել ավելորդ կիլոգրամներից:
