Կարագանդայի մարզի ղեկավար Նումուխաբեթ Աբդիբեկովը ազատել է աշխատանքից մի շարք պաշտոնյաների ՝ Շեթական թաղամասում սիբիրյան խոցի բռնկման պատճառով: Ավելի վաղ, Կարագանդայի մարզի Շեթական թաղամասի Երկինդիկ գյուղում ինը մարդ հայտնվել է ինֆեկցիոն հիվանդանոցում՝ սիբիրյան խոցով հիվանդ լինելու կասկածով. նրանցից երկուսը մահացել ե ն: Գյուղացիների մորթած կովի մսի նմուշի հետազոտման հիման վրա մարզային անասնաբուժական պոլիկլինիկան հաստատել է «սիբիրյան խոց» ախտորոշումը:
«ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն տեղեկացնում է, որ տարածաշրջանի ղեկավարը խիստ քննադատության է ենթարկել ընթացիկ կանխարգելիչ աշխատանքները: «Կարագանդայի մարզի անասնաբուժության կառավարման» գլխավոր վարչության ղեկավարը պաշտոնի իջեցմամբ ազատվել է իր դիրքից:
Ըստ Ղազախստանի ազգային էկոնոմիկայի նախարարության մամուլի ծառայության տվյալների՝ համաճարակաբանական հետազոտությունները հաստատել են, որ Երկինդիկի բնակիչն առանց անասնաբույժի ծանուցման մորթել է հիվանդ կովին և հարևաններին վաճառվել միսը: Ենթադրվում է, որ մարդիկ կարող էին վարակվել կովի սպանդի ընթացքում: Գյուղում առնվազն 15 օրով կարանտին է հայտարարվել:
