ԱՄՆ Ֆիլադելֆիա քաղաքի դպրոցներից մեկը նույնպես մասնակցում էր Հռոմի Պապի՝ Գյումրիում մատուցած Սուրբ պատարագին

ԱՄՆ Փենսիլվանիա նահանգի Ֆիլադելֆիա քաղաքում գտնվող Մալվերնի՝ 6-12-րդ դասարաններում սովորող տղաների համար նախատեսված կաթոլիկ դպրոցը նույնպես մասնակցում էր Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս Սրբազան Քահանայապետի՝ Գյումրիում մատուցած Սուրբ պատարագին։
Դպրոցի քրիստոնեական ծառայության կրթական ծրագրի պատասխանատու Լարի Լեգները նշեց, որ 2 շաբաթ է՝ ինչ արդեն Հայաստանում են։
«Մենք այժմ «Տիրամայր Հայաստան» կենտրոնի հետ համատեղ մասնակցում ենք ամառային ճամբարի աշխատանքներին որպես ճամբարի խորհրդականներ։ Երեխաները շատ ուրախ էին Հռոմի Պապի այցի կապակցությամբ, եւ անձամբ օդանավակայանում են ողջունել նրան։ Մեզ համար սա շատ կարեւոր կյանքի ուղեւորություն էր եւ´ որովհետեւ հնարավորություն ունեցանք տեսնելու Հռոմի պապին, եւ´ նաեւ ճամբարի երեխաների հետ աշխատանքը»,- նշեց նա։
Կրթական ծրագրի պատասխանատուի խոսքով՝ Հայաստանը զարմանալիորեն գեղեցիկ երկիր է։
«Շատ սիրեցինք Հայաստանը։ Մենք, ճիշտն ասած, զարմացել էինք՝ տեսնելով այս երկիրը, Սեւանա լիճը»,- ասաց Լարի Լեգները։
Հռոմի Սրբազան Քահանայապետ Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապը Հայաստան ժամանեց հունիսի 24-ին: Այցի շրջանակներում Երևանի «Զվարթնոց» միջազգային օդանավակայանում տեղի ունեցավ պաշտոնական դիմավորման արարողություն, որից հետո Սրբազան Քահանայապետը մեկնեց Մայր Աթոռ Ս. Էջմիածին: Նույն օրը երեկոյան Սրբազան Քահանայապետը Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահի նստավայրում հանդիպում ունեցավ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ, ապա՝ ՀՀ իշխանությունների, հասարակության և դիվանագիտական կորպուսի ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Հունիսի 25-ի առավոտյան Սրբազան Քահանայապետը այցելեÖ Ծիծեռնակաբերդ՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հուշահամալիր և թանգարան, որտեղ պատվո այցելուների գրքում կատարեց հետեւյալ գրառումը.
«Մենք այստեղ աղոթում ենք հայ ժողովրդի ողբերգության համար, և թող մարդկությունը գիտակցի սա և միշտ տարբերի չարը բարուց: Հայ ժողովրդիողբերգության հիշողությունը թող մեր մեջ մնա, և հիշողությունն է, որ հետագայում կանխելու է նման ոճիրները»: Հռոմի Պապ Ֆրանցիսկոսն այնո ւհետև Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի հետ մեկնեց Գյումրի, որտեղ Սուրբ և Անմահ Պատարագ մատուցեց Վարդանանց հրապարակում: Նույն օրը երեկոյան Երևանում՝ Հանրապետության հրապարակում, տեղի ունեցավ էկումենիկ արարողություն և Խաղաղության Աղոթք:
Հունիսի 26-ին, Մայր Աթոռ Ս. Էջմիածնում Հռոմի Սրբազան Քահանայապետը հանդիպում կունենա Հայ Կաթողիկե եպիսկոպոսների հետ: Նույն օրը Հռոմի Սրբազան Քահանայապետ Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապը Երևանից կմեկնի Հռոմ:
