Վլադիմիր Պուտինին Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիբ Էրդողանի կողմից ուղարկված նամակը կարող է հիմք հանդիսանալ Ռուսաստանի ու Թուրքիայի հարաբերությունների փուլային վերականգնման համար: Ինչպես հաղորդում է«Արմենպրես»-ը` հղում կատարելով «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ին, այս մասին հայտարարել է Ռուսաստանի  Դաշնային խորհրդի խոսնակ Վալենտինա Մատվիենկոն: 

«Իհարկե, ցավալի է, որ ներողությունները ուշացել են, բայց ինչպես ասում են, լավ է ուշ, քան երբեք: Այս ընթացքում մեր փոխհարաբերություններում տեղի ունեցան կոնկրետ բացասական գործընթացներ, կորցված է ունեցած վստահության մակարդակը: Ամեն դեպքում, այդ ուղերձը կարող է ապասառեցման և ռուս-թուրքական հարաբերությունների փուլային վերականգնման հիմք լինել»,-ասել է Մատվիենկոն:

Խոսնակը հիշեցրել է Վլադիմիր Պուտինի այն խոսքը, որ ստեղծված իրավիճակը կապ չունի թուրք ժողովրդի հետ: «Կարելի է միայն ողջունել, որ եկել է գիտակցման պահը: Իր նամակում Էրդողանը ներողություն է հայցել, ցավակցություն է հայտնել զոհված օդաչուի ընտանիքին, ինչպես նաև նշել է իրավիճակի կարգավորման պատրաստակամության մասին»,-ընդգծել է նա:

Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը ուղերձ է հղել Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին` խորին ափսոսանք հայտնելով ռուսական օդանավի խոցման առնչությամբ: Ուղերձում, մասնավորապես, նշվում է, որ Ռուսաստանը Թուրքիայի ընկերն է և ռազմավարական գործընկերը, որի հետ թուրքական իշխանությունները չէին ցանկանա վատացնել հարաբերությունները:

 «Մենք երբեք ցանկություն և մտադրություն չենք ունեցել խոցել Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությանը պատկանող ինքնաթիռ»,- նշել է Էրդողանը:
