Գոյություն ունեն բազմաթիվ ավանդույթներ ոսկերչական զարդեր կրելու վերաբերյալ: Իմանալով մատանիների կրման նշանակության մասին՝ կարելի է «անել հայտարարություն» կամ ինչ-որ բան իմանալ դրա տիրոջ մասին:

Մատանիները կոնկրետ ձեռքին ու մատին կրելու կանոններ գոյություն չունեն, բացի ամուսնական մատանուց, սակայն այստեղ կան հետաքրքիր նյուանսներ: Օրինակ՝ Հարավային ու Հյուսիսային Ամերիկաների բնակիչները, ինչպես նաև եվրոպական երկրների մի մասի քաղաքացիները ամուսնական մատանին կրում են ձախ ձեռքի մատնեմատին: Ընդ որում՝ տղամարդը հաճախ ընդհանրապես ոչ մի մատին էլ մատանի չի կրում:

1. Բութ մատը խորհրդանշում է կամքի ուժ ու արտահայտում է մարդու ներքին էությունը: Եթե սկսեք բթամատին մատանի կրել, ապա ձեր կյանքում փոփոխություններ կսկսվեն:

2.
