Այսպես` տղամարդկանց եւ կանանց հարաբերություններին բնորոշ տարօրինակությունները եւ կինն ինչպես հասկանա, թե ինչ է տեղի ունենում իր կեսի հետ: 

Ակնկալիքներ եւ իրականություն

Այս սխալը բնորոշ է հեռակա սիրավեպերին եւ ժամադրություններին: Դուք կարող եք հանդիպել քո քաղաքում կամ տղամարդու, հետո էլի ինչ-որ տեղ, միասին լավ ժամանակ անցկացնել, հետո վերադառնալ ամեն մեկդ իր կյանքին եւ պարզել, որ կապը չի կորում, տղամարդը շարունակում է զանգել քեզ եւ գրել: Շփումը կարող է ավելի ու ավելի ռոմանտիկական բնույթ ձեռք բերել. տղամարդը վերհիշում է, թե ինչ լավ էր միասին եւ երեւակայում է, թե էլի ինչ լավ կլինի:  Իր երազանքներում տղամարդը կարող է հասնել նույնիսկ ձեր ապագա երեխաների համար անուններ մտածելուն եւ թե դու առավոտյան ինչ լավ տեսք կունենաս իր խոհանոցում: 

Ո՞ր աղջկան անտարբեր կթողնեն նման երազանքները: Նա միանում է եւ նույնպես երեւակայության գիրկն ընկնում: Բայց ի տարբերություն տղամարդկանց երազանքների, կանանց երազանքներն արագ իրական ձեւ են ստանում: Նա գնացքի, ինքնաթիռի կամ ավտոբուսի տոմս է գնում: Նա պատրաստ է խոհանոցում ճաշ պատրաստելուն եւ երեք երեխա ունենալուն, եւ ընդհանրապես ուղեւորությունը դիտարկում է որպես երջանիկ տոմս  այն ուղղությամբ, որտեղից այլեւս վերադարձ չկա ամուրիությանը: Տեղ հասնելով` գուցե ընդհանրապես չգտնի տղամարդուն կամ էլ պարզի, որ նա այնպիսի ռոմանտիկ եւ ջերմ տրամադրվածություն չունի, որքան սկայպով: 

Հարաբերությունների երկարատեւությունը մտադրությունների լրջության ցուցանիշ չէ 

Երկրորդ սխալ` հարաբերությունների լրջությունը չափել միասին անցկացրած ժամանակով: Տղամարդկանց եւ կանանց համար հարաբերությունների ժամկետը տարբեր նշանակություն ունի: Կանանց համար ժամկետն ամեն ինչ է, իսկ տղամարդկանց համար ոչինչ չի նշանակում:  Կանայք հակված են հաշվարկելու, թե որքան ժամանակ են արդեն անցկացրել միասին եւ դրանից խորը եւ խոստումնալից եզրահանգումներ անել:  Որովհետեւ տղամարդու գլխում ժամկետը եւ լրջությունը բոլորովին կապված չեն: Տղամարդու մտադրությունների լրջությունը  որոշվում է քո հանդեպ նրա արարքներով. քեզ ծանոթացնո՞ւմ է իր հարազատների եւ ընկերների հետ, քեզ համար անո՞ւմ է որեւէ բան, հոգ տանո՞ւմ է քո հետաքրքրություններին, հիշո՞ւմ է սովորույթները:

Նենգ նախկին ընկերուհին

Ահա մենք մոտենում ենք տղամարդկային հրաշալի տարօրինակությանը` նախկին ընկերուհիների հետ շփմանը: Այդ տարօրինակությունը ոչ մի կերպ չես բացատրի, ուղղակի տղամարդուն ձգում է նախկին ընկերուհու հետ դավաճանելը, իսկ նախկին ընկերուհու հետ դավաճանությունը դավաճանություն չէ: Տղամարդկային տրամաբանություն է, ի՞նչ կարող ես անել:
