Գերմանիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար, ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահ Ֆրանկ-Վալտեր Շտայնմայերը Բաքու կգնա ուղերձով, որ ապրիլյան իրադարձություններն այլևս չկրկնվեն: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` այս մասին Երևանում լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը հայտարեց նախարարը` պատասխանելով հարցին` «վաղը մեկնելու եք Բաքու, ակնհայտ է՝ Ադրբեջանն է մերժում հետաքննությունների մեխանիմների և վստահության աջակցմանն ուղղված քայլերի ներդրումը, ինչ ուղերձով եք մեկնում Բաքու»: «Դուք ինձ հարցնում եք Բաքվում մեր առաջիկա հանդիպման հնարավոր արդյունքների վերաբերյալ. ինչպես գիտեք, ես արտգործնախարար եմ, ոչ թե մարգարե, որ կարողանամ հստակ ասել` ինչպես դրանք կավարտվեն: Ես կարող եմ ասել, որ այն, ինչ այս տարվա սկզբին տեղի ուենցավ, իրավունք չունի կրկնվելու: Մենք պետք է փորձենք ներդնել անվտանգության մեխանիզմներ և գտնենք նոր եզրեր բանակցությունների շարունակության համար»,-ասաց Շտայնմայերը:  Նրա խոսքով` կխոսվի, թե ինչի շնորհի հնարավոր կլինի զինանադադարի ռեժիմը կայունացնել ու հաստատուն պահել, ինչպես նաև ԵԱՀԿ նախագահի անձնական ներկայացուցչի գրասնեյակի ընդլայնմանը վերաբերող հարցեր: «Թերևս դրանք ենք լինելու Բաքվում մեր բանակցությունների թեմաները»,-եզրափակեց Գերմանիայի ԱԳ նախարարը:

ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանի հրավերով հունիսի 29-30-ը  Հայաստան է այցելել Գերմանիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար, ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահ Ֆրանկ-Վալտեր Շտայնմայերը:
