ՀՀ օմբուդսմենը Human Rights Watch-ի հետ քննարկել է համատեղ ծրագրեր իրականացնելու հարցերը

ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանը հունիսի 29-ին Ժնեւում հանդիպել է Human Rights Watch կազմակերպության Եվրոպայի եւ Կենտրոնական Ասիայի գրասենյակի տնօրեն Ֆիլիպ Դամին: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմից:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերը կարեւորել են Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի կողմից կանխարգելիչ ակտիվ գործունեության իրականացումը Հայաստանում մարդու իրավունքների միջազգային չափանիշների ներդրման ուղղությամբ: Մասնավորապես, քննարկվել է խոշտանգումների եւ վատ վերաբերմունքի մյուս ձեւերի դեմ պայքրի գործում Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի՝ որպես ազգային կանխարգելման մեխանիզմի դերին առնչվող հարցը: Կարեւորվել են մոնիտորինգային այցերը քրեակատարողական հիմնարկներ, ինչպես նաեւ ազատությունից զրկման այլ վայրեր:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում ընգծվել է քաղաքացիական հասարակության կազմակերպությունների եւ լրատվության միջոցների հետ համագործակցության, նրանց գործունեությունը խթանելու կարեւորությունը:
Հանդիպմանը քննարկվել են նաեւ ընտանեկան բռնության կանխարգելման, մասնավորապես՝ միասնական օրենսդրության ընդունման, ինչպես նաեւ հաշմանդամություն ունեցող անձանց իրավունքների պաշտպանության եւ մի շարք այլ ոլորտների վերաբերող հարցեր:
Կողմերը պայմանավորվել են այսուհետ իրականացնել ակտիվ համագործակցություն՝ համատեղ միջոցառումներ կազմակերպելու, դրանց կողմերի ներկայացուցիչների մասնակցությունն ապահովելու, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցերում համագործակցված ուսումնասիրություններ կատարելու ու իրավունքների խախտումների վերացմանն ուղղված առաջարկներ ներկայացնելու միջոցով:
