Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչելը Իսրայելի բարոյական պարտքն է. Հակոբ Սեւան

Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման հարցի վերաբերյալ Կնեսետից դրական ազդակներ են գալիս, սակայն պետք չէ մոռանալ, որ ներկա փուլում թուրք-իսրայելական հարաբերությունների կարգավորման ուղղությամբ աշխատանքներ են իրականացվում:
Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Հայ դատի Երուսաղեմի հանձնախմբի ատենապետ Հակոբ Սեւանը` անդրադառնալով հուլիսի 5-ին Իսրայելի խորհրդարանում Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցի սպասվող քննարկմանը:
«Հայ դատի հանձնախումբը չի նայում, թե այդ փուլում ինչ քաղաքական գործընթացներ են, ինքն իր գործը շարունակական կատարում է: Իհարկե, հասկանում ենք, որ թուրք-իսրայելական հարաբերությունների կարգավորումը կարող է ազդել գործընթացի վրա, սակայն մենք մեր գործը վճռականորեն առաջ ենք տանում: Մենք աշխատում ենք անընդհատ, մեր նպատակն է հասնել նրան, որ 1915 թվականին հայերի նկատմամբ վայրագություններն Իսրայելը ճանաչի որպես ցեղասպանություն: Կարծում ենք, որ հրեաները, որպես ցեղասպանություն տեսած ազգ, պետք է ճանաչեն Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Դա իրենց բարոյական պարտքն է»,-ասաց Հակոբ Սեւանը:
Հակոբ Սեւանը նկատեց, որ Կնեսետում Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման հարցի վերաբերյալ դրական տրամադրվածություն կա: Ըստ նրա, եթե ազատ քվեարկության իրավունք տրվի, ապա շատ պատգամավորներ կողմ կքվեարկեն:
Հակոբ Սեւանը տեղեկացրեց, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցի քննարկման օրը Հայ դատի հանձնախումբը հրեա գործընկերների հետ պահանջատիրական ցույց է անցկացնելու Կնեսետի շենքի մոտ:
Հուլիսի 5-ին Իսրայելի խորհրդարանում կքննարկվի Հայոց ցեղասպանության հարցը: Մայիսի 16-ին Իսրայելի խորհրդարանի խոսնակ Յուլի Էդլստեյնը կոչ էրարել կառավարությանը ճանաչել Օսմանյան Թուրքիայի կողմից իրականացրած Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը:
