 Շվեյցարիայում ապրիլյան պատերազմի առնչությամբ մոտեցումները հստակ են. Ադրբեջանը մի քանի անգամ հարձակում գործեց արցախյան դիրքերի վրա: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում Շվեյցարիայի խորհրդարանի փոխնախագահ Դոմինիկ դը Բյումանը կարծիք հայտնեց, որ Ադրբեջանը ղարաբաղյան կողմից չէր էլ սպասում այդքան հզոր պատասխան: «Նրանք չկարողացան դիմակայել, եւ շատ ավելի տուժեցին, քան կարծում էին»,-ասաց խորհրդարանի փոխնախագահը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ ղարաբաղյան հակամարտությունը չափազանց բարդ խնդիր է, որին  անմիջապես լուծում տալը պետք է շատ դժվար լիներ: «Չի կարելի ասել, որ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խումբը ոչինչ չի արել: Հիշենք ԵԱՀԿ նախագահներից Դիդիե Բուրկհալտերին` Շվեյցարիայից, ով լավագույնս կատարեց իր  գործը  իր նախագահության ընթացքում: Պարզապես  ԵԱՀԿ ՄԽ-ն չունի ինչ-որ հստակ ծրագիր, սակայն ունի իր տեսլականը՝ կապված հակամարտության համակարգման հետ: Իսկ ինչ վերաբերում է Ռուսաստանին, ապա նրա ներգրավվածությունը պայմանավորված է իր պատմական, ռազմավարական դերով: Հատկանշական է այն, որ Կովկասում Ռուսաստանի դերը կասկածի տակ չի դրվում, քանի որ այն բոլորի համար կարծես «ոստիկանություն» լինի, որը որոշ չափով կանխում է պատերազմները»,-նշեց նա:

Անդրադառնալով քառօրյա պատերազմից հետո Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի եւ ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահի անձնական ներկայացուցչի գրասենյակի միջնորդությամբ հայկական կողմին հանձնված 18 զինծառայողների մարմինների, ինչպես նաեւ այդ օրերին տարեց բնակիչների խոշտանգումներին,  Շվեյցարիայի խորհրդարանի փոխնախագահը նշեց, որ անկախ այն հանգամանքից, թե ում կողմից եւ ում դեմ են իրականացվում, նման գործողությունները բացարձակապես անընդունելի են:

«Դա դեմ է բոլոր կոնվենցիաներին, մարդկային արժանապատվությանը: Կան մի շարք միջազգային ատյաններ, դատարաններ, որոնց  պետք է հայց ներկայացնեն բոլոր տուժած պետությունները նման դեպքերի հիմքով»,- ընդգծեց Դոմինիկ դը Բյումանը:
