 Թբիլիսիում մեկնարկել է ԵԱՀԿ խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի 25-րդ նստաշրջանը: Նստաշրջանի բացմանը ելույթներ են ունեցել Վրաստանի նախագահ Գիորգի Մարգվելաշվիլին, խորհրդարանի խոսնակ Դավիթ Ուսուպաշվիլին, վարչապետ Գիորգի Կվիրիկաշվիլին, ինչպես նաև ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահ, Գերմանիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Ֆրանկ-Վալտեր Շտայնմայերը:

Վրաստանի նախագահը կարևորել է վեհաժողովի նստաշրջանի անցկացումը Թբիլիսիում` Վրաստանի անկախության 25-ամյակի համատեքստում: «Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովների դերն իսկապես կարևոր է: Համատեղ ջանքերով օրենսդրական նախաձեռնությունների իրականացումը կենսական նշանակություն ունի  մեր երկրների խաղաղ  զարգացման առջև ծառացած մարտահրավերները հաղթահարելու առումով»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ասել է Մարգվելաշվիլին:

Վրաստանի խորհրդարանի խոսնակ Դավիթ Ուսուպաշվիլին ուշադրություն է հրավիրել ԵԱՀԿ-ի առջև ծառացած մարտահրավերների վրա: «Պատերազմները և ահաբեկչությունը սահմաններ չեն ճանաչում և դառնում են բոլորի սարսափը: Մենք սա տեսնում ենք շատ երկրներում: Այս ամենին մենք բախվում ենք նաև Եվրոպայում: Ես կարծում եմ, որ սխալվում են նրանք, ովքեր փորձում են միայն լուծել գլոբալ խնդիրները: Մենք պետք է համատեղենք մեր ջանքերը բոլոր տեսակի սպառնալիքները միասին հաղթահարելու համար»,- ասել է նա:

ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահ Ֆրանկ-Վալտեր Շտայնմայերն էլ իր հերթին ընդգծել է, որ խորհրդարանականները կարևոր դեր ունեն կառուցողական երկխոսության հաստատման և միջնորդական ջանքերի առումով: «Ես շնորհակալ եմ ձեզ երկխոսության նման հարթակ ստեղծելու ձեր ջանքերի համար: Շարունակենք պրագմատիկ մնալ մեր աշխատանքում: Մաղթում եմ մեզ համբերություն մեր աշխատանքում: Մենք պետք է պահպանենք երկխոսությունը, ինչի կարիքն այդքան ունենք մենք` հանուն մեր քաղաքացիների և այն շուրջ մեկ միլիարդ ընտրողների, որոնց ընտրայլները ներկայացված են այս վեհաժողովում»,- նշել է Շտայնմայերը:

ԵԱՀԿ խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի 25-րդ նստաշրջանը մեկնարկել է հուլիսի 1-ին և կշարունակվի մինչև հուլիսի 5-ը:
