1. Իբրահիմ Նասիրի միջազգային օդանավակայան, Մալդիվներ
Մալդիվների մայրաքաղաք Մալեին սպասարկող օդանավակայանը աշխարհում այն քիչ օդանավակայաններից մեկն է, որ մի ամբողջ կղզի է զբաղեցնում, թռիչքուղին բոլոր կողմերից շրջապատված է ջրով:
2. Տենցինգի և Հիլարիի անվան օդանավակայան
Հիմալայներում Լուկլա քաղաքում գտնվող այդ փոքր օդանավակայանը հայտնի է որպես Էվերեստ լեռան դարպասներ։ Այն նաև աշխարհում ամենավտանգավոր օդանավակայանն է՝ վտանգավոր լեռնային եղանակի և թռիչքուղու պատճառով, որի մի ծայրում մեծ անդունդ է:
3. Տեղափոխման դաշնային կենտրոն, Օկլահոմա, ԱՄՆ
ԱՄՆ-ում այս կալանավայրը գտնվում է Օկլահոմայի կոմերցիոն օդանավակայանի հարևանությամբ: Այնտեղ է գտնվում «Con Air»-ը՝ ծառայությունը, որը տեղափոխում է կալանավորներին կալանավայրերի միջև։
4. Սառցե թռիչքուղի, Անտարկտիկա
Մակ-Մերդո նեղուցի մոտ գտնվող այս օդանավակայանը պատրաստվում է ծովի սառույցից ամեն ամառ, և կարող է օգտագործվել ընդամենը մի քանի ամիս: Հավանաբար այս թռիչքուղու վրա վայրէջքները տարբերվում են գետնի վրա կատարվող վայրէջքներից:
5. Խուանչո Իրաուսկին օդանավակայան, Սաբա
Կարիբյան ծովում գտնվող Սաբա կղզին ընդամենը 13 քառակուսի կիլոմետր տարածք է զբաղեցնում, և այդտեղ գտնվող թռիչքուղին աշխարհի ամենափոքր թռիչքուղին է՝ ընդամենը 400 մետր:
6. Մադեյրա օդանավակայանը, Պորտուգալիա
Պորտուգալիայի իշխանությունները որոշել են օգտագործել հսկայական 70 մետր բարձրությամբ սյուներ Մադեյրայի փոքր թռիչքուղին մեծացնելու համար: Այն համարվում է աշխարհի ամենաբարդ վայրերից մեկը վայրէջք կատարելու համար, քանի որ երեք կողմից շրջապատված է ծովով:
7. Բլեք Րոք քաղաքային օդանավակայան, Նևադա, ԱՄՆ
Օդանավակայանը գտնվում է Նևադայի անապատի մեջտեղում, և այն բաց է տարին ընդամենը մեկ շաբաթ այնտեղ անցկացվող «Այրվող մարդը» ամենամյա փառատոնի այցելուների համար:
