Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս Պապը դատապարտել է Բանգլադեշի մայրաքաղաք Դաքքայում իրականացված ահաբեկչությունը: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է ռուսական ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

«Խորապես վշտացած եմ Դաքքայում անմեղ զոհերի նկատմամբ կիրառված անիմաստ բռնության փաստի առնչությամբ և ամբողջ սրտով իմ ցավակցություններն եմ հայտնում ու դատապարտում այն բարբարոսական գործողությունները, որոնք վիրավորական են Աստծու և մարդկության համար»,- իր հայտարարության մեջ ասել է Պապը:

ԻՊ գրոհայինները հուլիսի 1-ին հարձակվել են դիվանագիտականթաղամասում գտնվող ռեստորանի վրա, որը մեծ հեղինակություն էվայելում օտարերկրացիների շրջանում: Ահաբեկիչները կրակ են բացելռեստորանում, ինչի հետևանքով զոհվել է երկու ոստիկան, 20օտարերկրացի, շուրջ 40 մարդ վիրավորվել է: Հաջորդ առավոտ Բանգլադեշիոստիկանությունը հատուկ գործողություն է իրականացրել, որի շրջանակում6 գրոհայինները ոչնչացվել են: Ոստիկանությանը հաջողվել է ազատարձակել 13 գերու, այդ թվում և Ճապոնիայի մեկ ու Շրի Լանկայի երկուքաղաքացու:
