Հնդիկ գիտնականներն անցած տարի կենդանիների ու բույսերի 445 նոր տեսակ են հայտնաբերել

Հնդկաստանի բնությունը շարունակում է զարմացնել հետազոտողներին՝ միայն անցած տարի հայտնաբերվել է կենդանիների ու բույսերի 445 նոր տեսակ: Այս մասին հայտնել է շրջակա միջավայրի պաշտպանության նախարար Փրաքաշ Ջավադեքարը, ներկայացնելով 2015-ի արդյունքներով մանրակրկիտ զեկույցը:
Նախարարը զեկույցի վերջում վստահություն է հայտնել, որ երկրի կուսական անտառները դեռ շատ գաղտնիքներ ու անակնկալներ են թաքցնում:
Հնդկաստանի բուսաբաանական ծառայության (BSI) գիտնականներին մեծ ուրախություն է պատճառել այն փաստը, որ երկրի անխտիր բոլոր տարածքներում նոր տեսակի բույսեր են հայտնաբերվել: Հնդկաստանի կենդանաբանական միության (ZSI) ներկայացուցիչներին էլ ոգեւորել է ողնաշարային կենդաիների ներ տեսակների աննախադեպ քանակությունը՝ ավելի քան 15 տոկոս:
Ամբողջ ցուցակը ներառում է կենդանիների 262 ու բույսերի 183 տեսակ: Անցած տարվա առավել ուշագրավ գյուտերից են սողունների չորս տեսակները, ջրացամաքային կենդանիների վեց տեսակները, ձկների 26 տեսակները, վայրի կոճապղպեղի երեք տարատեսակները ու թզի «երեք մոտ ազգականները»:
ZSI-ի ղեկավար Կայլաշ Չանդրան նշել է, որ «նոր հայտնագործությունները արտացոլում են Հնդկաստանում էկոհամակարգերի ֆաունայի բազմազանությունը, որը կենդանիների 97 514 տեսակի հայրենիքն է, ու անկասկած առաջիկա տարիներին այս ցուցակը կհամալրվի առայսօր գիտությանը անհայտ եւս մի քանի տասնյակ տարատեսակներով»:
