Առանց հոբբիի կյանքը ձանձրալի է և անհետաքրքիր։ Նույնիսկ հայտնի մարդկանց կյանքը։ Իսկ ամենատարածված զբաղմունքը հավաքածուներ ունենալն է։
Ավտոմեքենաներ հավաքելը միշտ էլ համարվել է շատ հեղինակավոր հոբբի։ Եվ դա զարմանալի չէ, քանի որ նման թանկարժեք զբաղմունք չի կարող իրեն թույլ յուրաքանչյուրը։ Օրինակ՝ Առնոլդ Շվարցենեգերը հավաքում է համերներ։ Ըստ լուրերի՝ նրա մեքենաները կանգնած են տանկի կողքին, որը նրա հավաքածուի յուրահատուկ զարդն է։
Էլթոն Ջոնը նույնպես սիրում է ավտոմեքենաներ և հավաքում է միայն հին մեքենաներ։ Սակայն նա չի սահմանափակվում միայն մեքենաներով, երգիչն ունի նաև հագուստի, ակնոցների, կտավների և լուսանկարների հավաքածուներ։
Իսկ ահա Կիանու Ռիվզին ավելի շատ գրավում են մոտոցիկլետները։
Աստղերի թվում քիչ չեն արվեստի իրական գնահատողները, որոնք պատրաստ են մեծ գումարներ վճարել բացառիկ գործերի համար։ Օրինակ՝ Մադոննան ավանգարդի սիրահար է։ Նա հավաքում է Լեժեի և Պիկասոյի կտավները։
Բրեդ Փիթը հավաքում է հնագույն իրեր։ Առանձնահատուկ հետաքրքրություն են ներկայացնում ոսկերչական զարդերը, կտավներն ու հնագույն սպասքը։
Բարբարա Սթրեյզանդը հպարտանում է կահույքի իր հավաքածուով։
Բիլ Գեյթսն աշխարհում ամենամեծ գրքերի հավաքածուն ունի։ Նրա հավաքածուում կան շատ եզակի գրքեր, այդ թվում՝ աշխարհում ամենաթանկ գիրքը՝ Լեոնարդո դա Վինչիի ձեռագիր օրագիրը, որի համար Գեյթսը վճարել է 30.8 մլն դոլար։
Որոշ աստղեր այլ պատկերացումներ ունեն հոբբիի մասին։ Ջոնի Դեփը, օրինակ, հավաքում է իր սեփական վախերի դեմ հաղթանակները։ Երբ դերասանը հասկացել է, որ վախենում է ծաղրածուներից, սկսել է հավաքել խաղալիք ծաղրածուներ։ Ընդ որում՝ նրանք չեն պահվում առանձին վայրում, այլ դրված են ամբողջ տանը։ Դերասանը հավաքում է նաև խրտվիլակներ և կենդանիների կմախքներ։

Կլաուդյա Շիֆերն ունի բոլորովին ոչ կանացի հոբբի. նա հավաքում է միջատներ։
Իսկ ահա Դեմի Մուրն իդեալական զբաղմունք ունի։ Նա հավաքում է տիկնիկներ։ Դերասանուհու հավաքածուում կա արդեն մոտ 200 նմուշ, որոնցից մեկն արժե 55.000 դոլար։
