Ձեզ ենք ներկայացնում որոշ հետաքրքիր փաստեր հնդկական ֆիլմերի մասին.

1. Հնդկական կինոարդյունաբերությունն աշխարհում համարվում է խոշորագույնը: Այն կոչվում է «Բոլիվուդ» (Bollywood), որ «Հոլիվուդ» և «Բոմբեյ» (ժամանակակից Մումբաի քաղաքի հին անվանումը) բառերի արմատների բառաբարդումն է:

2. Ըստ տարբեր տվյալների` Բոլիվուդը տարեկան արտադրում է 600-1000 ֆիլմ, որոնք դիտում է մոտ 3 մլրդ 600 մլն հանդիսատես:

3. Հնդկական կինոն նկարահանվում է ոչ միայն Բոլիվուդում: Երկրի հարավում գործում են Թոլիվուդը (թելուգու լեզվով ֆիլմեր) և Քոլիվուդը (թամիլերեն ֆիլմեր):

4. Ամեն օր մոտ 14 մլն հնդիկ կինոթատրոն է գնում` նոր կինոնկար դիտելու: Քանի որ հնդիկների գրեթե 40%-ն անգրագետ է, կինոն այնտեղ տեղեկատվության հիմնական աղբյուրն է:

5. Ֆիլմերի դիտումը կինոթատրոնում դառնում է իսկական շոու: Երգերի ժամանակ հանդիսատեսը դահլիճում դուրս է գալիս շարքերից միջանցքներ և սկսում պարել:

6. Item girl-ը եզրույթ է, որ լայնորեն օգտագործվում է հնդկական կինոյի արդյունաբերությունում: Item number-ը վառ պարային համար է, որ կատարվում է գայթակղիչ պարուհու կողմից:

7. Բարձր վարձատրվող դերասաններից Շահրուկհ Քհանը խաղացած դերի համար ստանում է մոտ 1,5 մլն դոլար:

8. Հնդիկ դերասան Միթհուն Չակրաբորտին, որ ամենասիրված ու ամենաբարձր վարձատրվող դերասաններից է Հնդկաստանում, նկարվել է գրեթե 400 ֆիլմում:

9. 1929 թվականին հնդիկ հանդիսատեսն առաջին անգամ համբույր տեսավ էկրանին: Անմիջապես արգելք դրվեց, որը հանվեց միայն 50 տարի անց` 1983 թվականին:
