Ինչպես հավանաբար տեղյակ եք, Բրեդ Պիտտ ու Անջելինա Ջոլի աստղային զույգի 9-ամյա դուստրը հայտնել է իր սեռը փոխելու ցանկության մասին։

Այս որոշումը փոքրիկ Շայլո Նուվելի գլխում միանգամից չի ծագել։ Աղջիկն արդեն մի քանի տարի է, ինչ ոչ ստանդարտ վարք է դրսևորում իր տարիքի աաղջիկների համար․ նա կարճ տղայական սանրվածքով է հանրությանը ներկայանում ու հագնում է բացառապես տաբատներ ու ջինսեր։ Այս ողջ ընթացքում, այս գեղեցկագույն աղջնակին ոչ ոք չի տեսել շրջազգեստերով ու զգեստերով։ Ավելին, նա ինքը որոշել է, որ իր մականունը Ջոն է ու պահանջում է, որպեսզի իրենց հենց այդպես դիմեն։

Նրա խոսքերով, հոգեբանները հանգստացրել են աստղային զույգին ու համոզել, որ ոչ մի սխալ բան ներկայումս չկա։ Մեծ հավանականությամբ, Շայլոյի ինքնաընկալումն ապագայում կփոխվի ու նա կբացահայտի իր կանացիությունը։ Միևնույն ժամանակ, աստղային ծնողները՝ անհանգստացած լինելով ստեղծված իրավիճակից, այդուհանդերը հարգում են դստեր որոշումն ու ընդունում են այն։ Սակայն Բրեդը առաջվա պես հույս ունի, որ Շայլոյի մոտ բզիկները կանցնեն ու նա ապագայում կվերադառնա իր կանացի բնույթին։

Պիտտն ու Ջոլին 6 երեխաների են դաստիարակում, որոնցից 3-ը որդեգրված են։ Շայլոն նրանց առաջին համատեղ կենսաբանական երեխան է։ Ինչպես ավելի վաղ էր հաղորդվել, 10-ամյա եթովպուհի Զահարան, ում Պիտն ու Ջոլին որդեգրել էին 2005 թվականին, հայտարարել էր, որ ցանկանում է վերադառնալ իր հայրենիք։
