Սիրիական պատերազմի հետևանքով Լիբանանում է Սիրիայից դուրս եկած շուրջ 15 հազար հայ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Մերձավոր Արևելքի Հայ դատի գրասենյակի պատասխանատու Վերա Յակուբյանը:
«Լիբանանը Սիրիայի սահմանին ամենամոտն է, և հասկանալի է, որ Սիրիայից մեծ հոսք կա դեպի Լիբանան: Սիրիայից դեպի Լիբանան սիրիահայերի հոսքի ավելացում է նկատվում հատկապես վերջին 2-3 տարիների ընթացքում, երբ Հալեպում իրավիճակը վատացավ»,-ասաց Վերա Յակուբյանը:
Հենց առաջին օրվանից սիրիահայերի կողքին կանգնած է եղել Լիբանանի հայ համայնքը: Վերա Յակուբյանը վստահեցրեց, որ Լիբանանի հայ համայնքը սիրիահայերին օգնում է բոլոր հնարավոր միջոցներով:
«Չպետք է մոռանալ, որ Լիբանանում էլ տնտեսական դժվարություններ կան, սակայն, ամեն դեպքում, հայկական համայնքը կանգնած է սիրիահայերի կողքին: Տրամադրվող աջակցությունը թե նյութական է, թե բարոյական»,-նկատեց Վերա Յակուբյանը:
Նրա տեղեկացմամբ Լիբանանում գտնվող սիրիահայերի հիմնական մասն այս կամ այն կերպ տեղավորված են: Համայնքն իր կապերով, հնարավորություններով մատչելի պայմաններով վարձակալության համար բնակարաններ է գտնում: Բոլոր վարժարաններում երեխաների գրեթե անվճար են սովորում, առողջապահական ծրագրերից են օգտվում: Ամեն ինչ արվում է, որ նրանք իրենց զգան ապահով և հանգիստ:
«Այնպիսի տպավորություն չլինի, թե սիրիահայերը նստում ու սպասում են նյութական օգնության: Շատ ընտանիքների համար, տրամադրվող աջակցությունից բացի, մենք ստեղծում ենք պայմաններ, որ կարողանան աշխատել իրենց նվազագույն կարիքները հոգալ»,-հավելեց Վերա Յակուբյանը:
Պատերազմը սկսվել է 2011 թվականի մարտի 15-ին ու դեռ շարունակվում է: ՄԱԿ-ի փախստականների հարցերով գերագույն հանձնակատարի 2015 թվականի զեկույցիհամաձայն՝ Սիրիայից աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներ տեղափոխված փախստականների թիվը 4 մլն-ից ավելի է:
