Հանրահայտ Հոլվիդյան դերասան Բրյուս Ուլիսը պատմության սիրահար է, նախընտրած գիրքը Հերոդոտի «Պատմություն»-ն է: Ռոմանտիկ Կիրա Նայթլին սիրում է Ջեյն Օսթինի «Հպարտություն և նախապաշարմունք» ստեղծագործությունը:
Սիրված հոլիվուդյան դերասան և պրոդյուսեր Մել Գիբսոնի սեղանի գիրքն է Ռեյ Բրեդբեդերի «451 աստիճան Ֆարինգեյթով» ստեղծագործությունը, իսկ ահա Նիքոլ Քիդմանը նախընտրում է «Նարնիայի քրոնիկոնը»:
Հոլիվուդյան հայտնի ծովահեն Ջոնի Դեփի սիրված գիրքը Ջեք Կերուաքի «Ճանապարհին» ստեղծագործությունն է, իսկ ահա նրբիկ Դրյու Բերիմորը փորձում է գտնել կյանքի իմաստը Վ Ֆրանկլի «Մարդն իմաստի փնտրտուքներում» գրքի օգնությամբ:
Բրիտանացի դերասան Հյու Լորին նախընտրում է Գ. Մելվիլի հայտնի «Մոբի Դիկ» (այլ կերպ` «Սպիտակ կետը») վեպը, իսկ հոլիվուդյան դերասան Ջորջ Քլունին, պարզվում է, ռուսական գրականության սիրահար է` Ա.Ն. Տոլստոյ «Պատերազմ և խաղաղություն»:
Գեղեցկուհի Շարլիզ Տերոնի երկրպագունբերը, հնարավոր է, ցանկանան ընթերցել դերասանուհու սիրված «Ճանապարհը» գիրքը, հեղինակ` Կորմակ Մակարթի: Դերասան Ջոն Թրավոլթան բլոքբասթերների սիրահար է` Արթուր Հեյլի «Օդանավակայան»:
Ինքնատիպ դերասանուհի Ջուլիա Ռոբերտսի սիրված գրողը Ուիլյամ Ֆոլքներն է, մասնավորապես` «Վայրի արմավենիները» ստեղծագործությունը: Ազգությամբ իսպանացի, հոլիվուդյան հայտնի դերասան Անտոնիո Բանդերասի սիրված գիրքը Մ. Սերվանտեսի «Դոն Քիշոթ»-ն է:
Մեկ այլ ամերիկյան դերասան Դեվիդ Շվիմերը, պարզվում է, նույնպես ռուսական գրականության սիրահար է` Ֆ. Դոստոեվսկիյ «Ապուշ»: Իր ամերիկացի գործընկերոջից հետ չի մնում անգլիացի դերասան Դենիել Ռեդկլիֆը, Հարրի Փոթերի դերակատարի սիրված գիրքը Մ. Բուլգակովի «Վարպետը և Մարգարիտան» է:
Ռուսական գրականության սիրահարների ցուցակը համալրում է հայտնի դերասան Օրլանդո Բլումը` Ֆ. Դոստոյեվսկու «Կարամազով եղբայրները» գրքով: Աշխարհի ամենառոմանտիկ վամպիրի կերպարը մարմնավորած Ռոբերտ Պատինսոնը նախընտրում է Շարլ Բոդլերի «Չարի ծաղիկները» գիրքը: «Մթնշաղը» (Twilight) վամպիրական սագայի գլխավոր հերոսուհու դերակատար և Պատինսոնի նախկին զուգընկերուհի Քրիսթեն Սթյուարտը սիրում է ընթերցել Ջոն Սթեյբեքի «Էդեմից դեպի արևելք» գիրքը:
