Ջիմ Քերիի նախկին ընկերուհին՝ 30-ամյա Քաթրիոնա Ուայթը, ինքնասպանություն գործելուց առաջ դերասանին հասցեագրված մի երկտող է թողել, որտեղ գրել է. «Ես այս աշխարհի համար չեմ»: Քաթրիոնան մահացել էր իր և հոլիվուդյան դերասանի բաժանումից մի քանի օր անց՝ սեպտեմբերի 28-ին, դեղերի մեծ չափաբաժնի ընդունումից:
TMZ-ն նաև տեղեկացնում է, որ երկտողի մեջ Քաթրիոնան գրել է. «Երեք օր է անցել, և ես դեռ չեմ հավատում, որ դու այստեղ չես»:
«Իմ սիրտը կոտրված է, և ես փորձում եմ հավաքել փշուրները: Ես կարողանում էի հավաքել, բայց այս անգամ այլևս ուժ չունեմ:
Ների՛ր ինձ, որ քեզ թվացել է, թե ես քո կողքին չեմ եղել դժվար պահերին: Ես փորձել եմ քեզ տալ այն ամենը, ինչ ունեմ»:
Քաթրիոնայի ընկերներն ասում են, որ մահից առաջ Քաթրիոնան խոստովանել էր, որ գժի պես սիրում է Ջիմին, սակայն կարծես Ջիմը գնալով հեռանում է իրենից:
Ըստ պաշտոնական փաստաթղթերի՝ Քաթրիոնան նախկինում ամուսնացած է եղել Մարկ Բուրթոնի հետ, ով պնդել է, որ իր նախկին կինը ունեցել է դեպրեսիվ նոպաներ և խոսել է ինքնասպանություն գործելու մասին:
