Սիրիայի կառավարական զորքերը աշխարհազորային ստորաբաժանումների հետ համատեղ, ավիացիայի և հրետանու աջակցությամբ հարված են հասցրել «Ջեբհաթ ան-Նուսրա» և «Ջեյշ ալ-Իսլամ» ահաբեկչական խմբավորումներին, որոնք փորձել են մարտի միջոցով դուրս գալ Հալեպի հարավային մասում շրջափակումից:

«Ջեբհաթ ան-Նուսրա», «Ջեյշ ալ-Իսլամ» խմբավորումների, ինչպես նաև ավելի փոքր խմբերի զինյալները փորձել են համատեղ ջանքերով դուրս գալ շրջափակումից: Աջակցել են ավիացիան և հրետանին, հարձակումը շատ հուժկու էր, առանց աջակցության մենք կարող է և չկարողանայինք պահել դիրքերը»,-պատմել են աշխարհազորայինները: 

Գործակալության զրուցակցի խոսքով՝ ահաբեկիչները գրոհն սկսել են շաբաթ երեկոյան: Մարտի ընթացքում ոչնչացվել է 20 զինյալ: Զոհվել է սիրիացի 4 աշխարհազորային: 

«Ջեյշ ալ-Իսլամ» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման մեծաթիվ զինյալներ հարկադրված են եղել հետ քաշվել դեպի արևելյան թաղամասեր Լերամուն և Բանի Զեյդ: Բանակի առաջապահ ուժերն արդեն գտնվում են ռազմավարական նշանակություն ունեցող Կաստիլլո մայրուղուց 250-300 մետր հեռավորության վրա»,-ասել է զրուցակիցը: 

Հալեպում մարտական գործողություններն ակտիվացել են այն բանից հետո, երբ սիրիական բանակին հաջողվել է հետ մղել «Ջեյշ ալ-Իսլամի հարձակումները Հալեպի հյուսիսային արվարձակում և կտրել ահաբեկիչներին զինելու հիմնական ճանապարհը, որը Թուրքիայի սահմանից անցնում է Կաստիլլոյի ավտոմայրուղով: 

Անցնող երեք օրերի ընթացքում սա ահաբեկիչների երկրորդ փորձն է՝ վերականգնելու զենքի մատակարարման ճանապարհը: 

Քաղաքի կենտրոնում զինյալները վերսկսել էին Հալեպի բնակելի թաղամասերի հրթիռակոծումը: Վերջին տվյալներով՝ երկու օրում Հալեպում զոհվել է 44, վիրավորվել 300 մարդ:
