2015 թվականի համեմատությամբ Հայաստանի բնակչության թիվը նվազել է 14 հազարով

2016 թվականի ապրիլի 1-ի դրությամբ Հայաստանի բնակչության ընդհանուր թիվը կազմել է 2 մլն 994 հազար մարդ այն դեպքում, երբ այս տարվա հունվարի 1-ի դրությամբ այն եղել է 2 մլն 998 հազար: Նման տվյալներ, ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հաղորդեց ՄԱԿ-ի բնակչության հիմնադրամի հայաստանյան գրասենյակի ներկայացուցչ Աննա Հովհաննիսյանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ ի համեմատ 2015 թվականի հունվարի 1-ի դրությամբ գրանցված ցուցանշի՝ մարդկանց թիվը նվազել է 14 հազարով:
«Այսինքն՝ եթե տարվա մեջ ունենք չորս եռամսյակ, ապա այս կամ մյուս տարվա հունվարի մեկի դրությամբ ակնկալվում է նվազեցում եւս 16 հազարով: 2011թ.-ի մարդահամարից հետո թվերը նվազել են՝ 3 միլիոն 18 հազարից դառնալով 2 մլն 994 հազար մարդ»,- նշեց Աննա Հովհաննիսյանը:
ՄԱԿ-ի բնակչության հիմնադրամի հայաստանյան գրասենյակի գործադիր ներկայացուցիչ Գարիկ Հայրապետյանն էլ ասաց, որ ըստ իրենց կանխատեսումների՝ 2050 թվականին վատագույն դեպքում Հայաստանի բնակչությունը կկազմի 1 միլիոն 700 հազար մարդ, իսկ լավագույն դեպքում՝ 3 մլն 100 հազար:
«Բնակչության պակասը, հատկապես փոքր երկրների համար, միանշանակ մտահոգություն է, օրինակ, տնտեսության տեսանկյունից, որովհետեւ հաշվարկներ կան, որ տնտեսապես գրավիչ լինելու համար երկիրը նվազագույնը 5 մլն սպառող պիտի ունենա»,- նշեց գրասենյակի գործադիր ներկայացուցիչը:
