«Նախօրեին Արմավիրի մարզում և Արագածոտնի նախալեռներում տեղացած հուժկու կարկուտը հանրության ուշադրությունը գրավեց հակակարկտային կայանների խնդրի վրա: Մասնավորապես, ըստ մասնագետների՝ Հայաստանի ողջ ցանքատարածքները և այգիները հակակարկտային կայաններով «ծածկելու» համար անհրաժեշտ է տեղադրել մոտ 5 հազար սարք: Ներկայումս Հայաստանում առկա է շուրջ 450 հակակարկտային կայան: Սակայն նույնիսկ եթե ողջ հանրապետությունը հակակարկտային կայաններով ապահովվի, ապա այդ համակարգն այգիներն ու բանջարանոցները կարկուտից կարող է պաշտպանել միայն մինչև միջին ուժգնության կարկուտների ժամանակ: Իսկ գերհզոր կարկուտների ժամանակ համակարգերն անզոր են, ինչպես դա տեղի ունեցավ հուլիսի 10-ի երեկոյան տեղած հուժկու կարկուտի ժամանակ:
«Ժողովուրդ»-ին հայտնի դարձավ, որ հակակարկտային մեկ կայանի արժեքը 2-6 մլն դրամ է, որը մեր երկրում արտադրում է մեկ ընկերություն՝ «Բավրա»-ն: Այսպիսով՝ պետք է արձանագրել, որ ներկա համակարգի վրա արդեն իսկ մի քանի միլիարդ դրամ է ծախսվել, որի պահպանման համար տարեկան մի քանի տասնյակ միլիոն դրամ է ծախսվում, սակայն արդյունքում կարկուտից կիսատ-պռատ ապահովագրված է միայն հանրապետության այգիների և բանջարանոցների մոտ 8 տոկոսը միայն:
Ու եթե այս ամենին հավելենք նաև ռադիոտեղորոշիչ սարքավորումներ անհրա-եշտությունը, որը հարկավոր է ամպերի կառուցվածքն ու տեսակը պարզելու, ապա նաև ճիշտ կրակելու համար (ՀՀ-ում ընդամենը 2 նման սարք կա). ամեն ինչ «տեղն է ընկնում»: Մեր երկրում որևէ մեկն ապահովագրված չէ կարկուտներից»,-գրում է թերթը:
