Ֆրանսիայի ազգային տոնի առթիվ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր այցելել է Հայաստանում Ֆրանսիայի դեսպանություն: Հանրապետության Նախագահը տոնի առթիվ շնորհավորել է դեսպան Ժան-Ֆրանսուա Շարպանտիեին, դեսպանության աշխատակիցներին և ի դեմս նրանց՝ Ֆրանսիայի ամբողջ ժողովրդին: Նախագահ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ ուրախ է տոնի առիթով ևս մեկ անգամ կրկնելու՝ Հայաստանը հպարտ է բարեկամ Ֆրանսիայի հետ իր առանձնաշնորհյալ հարաբերություններով: ՀՀ Նախագահը միջպետական հարաբերությունների զարգացման և ամրապնդման գործում կարևորել ու բարձր է գնահատել Հայաստանում Ֆրանսիայի դեսպանության աշխատանքը և դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչությանը մաղթել նորանոր ձեռքբերումներ՝ ի նպաստ երկու երկրների և ժողովուրդների: Այս մասին  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

Դեսպան Շարպանտիեն շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին՝ դեսպանություն այցելության, ջերմ շնորհավորանքի, բարեմաղթանքների, ինչպես նաև դեսպանության գործունեությանը տված բարձր գնահատականի համար և նշել, որ իր ու դեսպանության բոլոր աշխատակիցների համար մեծ պատիվ և պատասխանատվություն է ամենօրյա աշխատանքով ավելի խորացնել Հայաստանի և Ֆրանսիայի միջև դարավոր բարեկամությունը, որը, դեսպանի համոզմամբ, մշտական հոգածություն է պահանջում:

Սերժ Սարգսյանը տոնի առթիվ նաև շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Ֆրանսուա Օլանդին:

«Ջերմորեն շնորհավորում և լավագույն մաղթանքներ եմ հղում Ձեզ և Ֆրանսիայի բարեկամ ժողովրդին Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության Ազգային տոնի առթիվ:
Մեր երկու բարեկամ երկրների միջև առկա բարձր մակարդակի քաղաքական երկխոսությունը և փոխվստահության մթնոլորտը կայուն հիմք են հայ-ֆրանսիական հարաբերությունների հետագա համակողմանի զարգացման և խորացման համար: Համոզված եմ, որ համատեղ ջանքերով կշարունակենք ամրապնդել Հայաստանը և Ֆրանսիան միավորող կապերն ինչպես երկկողմ, այնպես էլ բազմակողմ ձևաչափերով՝ ի շահ մեր ժողովուրդների։ 
Հայաստանում բարձր են գնահատում Ձեր անձնական հետևողականությունը Հայոց ցեղասպանության ժխտումն օրենքի ուժով դատապարտելու հարցում, ինչը մեկ անգամ ևս ընդգծում է Ֆրանսիայի և անձամբ Ձեր հավատարմությունը համամարդկային արժեքներին, մասնավորապես՝ մարդկության դեմ հանցագործությունների կանխարգելմանն ուղղված միջազգային պայքարին։
Մենք մեծապես կարևորում ենք Ֆրանսիայի՝ որպես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ երկրի, Ռուսաստանի և Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ համատեղ ներգրավվածությունն ու ջանքերը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման գործընթացում՝ ի նպաստ մեր տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության և կայունության:
Մեկ անգամ ևս շնորհավորելով Ֆրանսիայի Ազգային տոնի առթիվ՝ մաղթում եմ Ձեզ հաջողություններ և ամենայն բարիք, իսկ Ֆրանսիայի բարեկամ ժողովրդին` հետագա առաջընթաց և բարօրություն»,- ասված է ՀՀ Նախագահի շնորհավորական ուղերձում:
