Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Ֆրանսուա Օլանդն այցելել է Նիսի համալսարանական հիվանդանոցը, որտեղ տեղափոխվել են ահաբեկչությունից տուժածները։ Նախագահը լքել է հիվանդանոցը, առանց հայտարարություն անելու: Այս մասին պարզ է դառնում BFM TV հեռուստաընկերության ուղիղ հեռարձակումից:

Պաստերի անվան հիվանդանոցում Օլանդը մնացել է մոտ 20 րոպե: Հեռուստաընկերության տեղեկություններով՝ նա նախ հանդիպել է բուժանձնակազմի հետ՝ նրանց աջակցություն եւ շնորհակալություն հայտնելով կատարած աշխատանքի համար, այդ թվում՝ նաեւ նրանց, ովքեր ինքնակամ ընդհատել են արձակուրդը: Այնուհետեւ նախագահը, երկրի վարչապետ Մանուել Վալսը եւ առողջապահության նախարար Մարիսոլ Տուրեն տեսակցել են մի քանի վիրավորների, որոնք ահաբեկչական ակտի ընթացքում մարմնական ծանր վնասվածքներ են ստացել, այդ թվում՝ մի երիտասարդ զույգի, 22-ամյա կնոջ եւ 61-ամյա տղամարդու:

Հիշեցնենք, որ հուլիսի 14-ի երեկոյան՝ տեղական ժամանակով ժամը 22։30-ի սահմաններում, Նիսի Անգլիական ափին հավաքված մարդկանց խմբի մեջ մեծ արագությամբ բեռնատար էր մխրճվել։ Վարորդը մարդկանց մեջ էր մխրճվել Բաստիլի գրավման օրվա տոնական հրավառության ժամանակ։ Բեռնատարը, մոտ 2 կմ զիգզագաձեւ շարժվելով, փորձել է հնարավորինս շատ մարդկանց ճզմել։ Հետո վարորդը կրակ էր բացել մարդկանց վրա։ Ոստիկանության գործողությունների արդյունքում նա սպանվել է։ Բեռնատարի մեջ հայտնաբերվել է մեծ քանակությամբ զենք եւ պայթուցիկ։ Ըստ վերջին տեղեկությունների՝ զոհվել է 84 մարդ, ավելի քան 18-ի վիճակը ծայրահեղ ծանր է։ Վարորդը Ֆրանսիայի եւ Թունիսի քաղաքացի է։ Նա 31 տարեկան է։ Նախկինում ոստիկանության ուշադրության կենտրոնում էր հայտնվել գողության եւ խուլիգանության համար։
