Երևանի բնակիչ Էդգար Պետրոսյանին ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 112-րդ հոդվածի առաջին մասի և 137-րդ հոդվածի առաջին մասի հատկանիշներով մեղադրանքներ են առաջադրվել: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին հայտնի դարձավ դատական տեղեկատվական համակարգից:

Էդգար Արիստակեսի Պետրոսյանը իր կողմից օրավարձով շահագործվող ավտոմեքենայով Թուրքիայի քաղաքացի Հալիլ Ֆերմանի Իչին հերթական անգամ տեղափոխելու ժամանակ գումարային պարտք ու պահանջի հետ կապված վիճաբանության է բռնվել վերջինիս հետ:

Վիճաբանության ընթացքում դանակ բարձրացնելով և թափահարելով սպանության սպառնալիք է տվել և իրական վտանգ ստեղծել Հալիլ Իչի մոտ' վերջինիս մոտ առաջացնելով վախի, տագնապի և իր անվտանգության համար անհանգստանալու զգացում: Սակայն, Հալիլ Իչը, խլելով դանակը ու դուրս գալով ավտոմեքենայի սրահից, դիմել է փախուստի: Էդգար Պետրոսյանը, փախուստը կանխելու դիտավորությամբ ավտոմեքենայի լուսարձակները միացնելով, հետապնդել է Հալիլ Իչին, դիտավորյալ վրաերթի ենթարկել' վերջինիս առողջությանը պատճառելով ծանր վնաս:

Վերը նշված քրեական հոդվածներով մեղադրյալին սպառնում է առավելագույնը մեկ տարի ժամկետով ուղղիչ աշխատանքներ, առավելագույնը երկու ամիս ժամկետով կալանք, կամ երեքից յոթ տարի ժամկետով ազատազրկում:
