Ստամբուլի հայ համայնքում հուլիսի 15-ի երեկոյան ժամերից սկիզբ առած ռազմական հեղաշրջման փորձի հետևանքով տուժածներ չկան: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Ստամբուլում լույս տեսնող «Ակոս» հայկական պարբերականի հայերեն բաժնի խմբագիր Բագրատ Էստուկյանը: &l aquo;Համայնքից որևէ մեկը չի տուժել: Տուժածներն ավելի շատ զինվորներ ու ոստիկաններ են և իշխող կուսակցության համակիր քաղաքացիներ»,- նշեց Էստուկյանը:
Նրա ներկայացմամբ՝ հուլիսի 16-ի առավոտյան արդեն Ստամբուլում իրավիճակը մի փոքր հանդարտվել է: «Քաղաքի կյանքն ավելի բնականոնի է վերադառնում, բայց, անշուշտ, շատ ցնցող ապրումներ էին: Երեկ կեսգիշերից մինչև առավոտվա ժամերը բազմաթիվ ռմբակոծումներ եղան, ռազմական կործանիչ ինքնաթիռները բազմաթիվ թռիչքներ էին կատարում, ինչը ժողովրդին խուճապի էր մատնում»,- պատմեց Էստուկյանը: Նրա խոսքով՝ այսօր Ստամբուլում բազմաթիվ խանութներ չեն բացվել, սակայն երթևեկությունը համեմատաբար սկսել է կանոնավորվել՝ ավտոբուսները, նավերը, մետրոն սկսել են աշատել:
Էստուկյանը նշեց նաև, որ Ստամբուլի հայկական կառույցները ևս չեն տուժել: «Ստամբուլում պայթյունները հիմնականում բանակի զորամասի կողմերում էին և ջրամբարի մոտ, բնակելի հատվածներում չէին: Անկարայում էլ բախումները հիմնականում գլխավոր շտաբի և խորհրդարանի մոտ էին»,- ասաց նա՝ հավելելով, որ Մեջլիսի շենքը լրջորեն տուժել է:
«Անշուշտ ընդհանուր լարվածությունն ազդում է բոլորի վրա, այդ թվում և հայերի վրա»,- ամփոփեց Բագրատ Էստուկյանը:
Թուրքիայում ձախողված հեղաշրջման ժամանակ տարբեր քաղաքներում սկսված բախումների հետևանքով զոհվել է իշխանության 161 կողմնակից: Վիրավորների թիվը հասնում է շուրջ 2000-ի: Սպանվել է նաև հեղաշրջման փորձի 104 մասնակից:
