Զենքով քաղաքական հարցեր լուծելը կարող է ամենակործանիչ հետևանքներն ունենալ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշել է Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավոր Ալեքսանդր Արզումանյանը:

«Շատ վտանգավոր գործընթաց է, պետք է ամեն ինչ անել, որ արյունահեղություն չլինի: Ճիշտ կլիներ, որ հանձնվեին իրավապահներին և հարցերն այլ կերպ լուծեին:  Երբ զենքով են փորձում քաղաքական հարցեր լուծել, ապա ամենակործանիչ հետևանքներ կարող են լինել:  Դա հարիր չէ մեր հասարակությանը, զենքով հարց լուծելը հարիր չէ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը, դա ճանապարհ չէ: Ամեն ինչ պետք է անել, որ բանակցությունների միջոցով խնդիրը լուծվի և այլ զոհեր չունենանք»,-հավելել է Ալեքսանդր Արզումանյանը:

Հուլիսի 17-ի առավոտյան մի խումբ զինված անձինք մուտք են գործել ՀՀ ոստիկանության պարեկապահակային ծառայության գնդի տարածք և բռնության սպառնալիքով պահել այնտեղ գտնվող անձանց` պահանջելով ազատ արձակել մոտ մեկ ամիս առաջ մի խումբ անձանց կողմից ապօրինի կերպով զենք և ռազմամթերք ձեռք բերելը, փոխադրելը և պահելը կազմակերպելու մեղադրանքով կալանավորված Ժիրայր Սեֆիլյանին: 

ՀՀ ոստիկանության պարեկապահակային ծառայության գնդի վրա հարձակման հետևանքով զոհվել է ոստիկանության գնդապետ Արթուր Վանոյանը: Հարձակման ընթացքում հրազենային վնասվածքներ են ստացել ՀՀ ոստիկանության գնդապետ Արամ Հովհաննիսյանը, ոստիկանության փոխգնդապետ Հրաչ Խոստեղյանը, ոստիկանության ենթասպա Գագիկ Մկրտչյանը: 

ՀՀ փոխոստիկանապետ Հունան Պողոսյանը նշել է, որ ոստիկանությունը և իրավապահ ողջ համակարգն ունեն ուժեր և միջոցներ` վնասազերծելու ՀՀ ոստիկանության պարեկապահակային ծառայության գնդի տարածք մուտք գործած և այնտեղ բռնության սպառնալիքով ոստիկանության ծառայողներին պատանդ պահող խմբին վնասազերծելու համար:
