ՀՀ ազգային անվտանգության ծառայությունը նոր հայտարարություն է տարածել` զինված խմբի կողմից ՀՀ ոստիկանության պարեկապահակային ծառայության գնդի տարածք մուտք գործելուց հետո ստեղծված իրավիճակի մասին: Հայտարարության մեջ նշվում է.

«Հուլիսի 17-ի լույս 18-ի գիշերը տևական բանակցությունների և իրականացված հատուկ միջոցառումների արդյունքում հաջողվել է ազատ արձակել ՀՀ ոստիկանության պարեկապահակային ծառայության գնդի տարածքում զենքի սպառնալիքով պատանդ պահվող ոստիկանության մեկ ծառայողի, ինչպես նաև մեկ քաղաքացիական անձի՝ շտապօգնության մեքենայի վարորդին:
 Այդուհանդերձ, զինված խումբը հրաժարվում է ազատ արձակել բռնությամբ պահվող այլ անձանց, այդ թվում՝ ոստիկանության բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների, վայր դնել զենքերը և հանձնվել իշխանություններին: Կատարված հարձակման հետևանքով ապօրինի ազատազրկված անձանց կյանքը և առողջությունը շարունակում է վտանգված մնալ: Արդեն իսկ մի քանի հանցանք կատարած և իրենց տրամադրության տակ մեծ քանակի զենք ու ռազմամթերք ունեցող ահաբեկիչներն ակնհայտ և անմիջական վտանգ են ներկայացնում ոչ միայն պատանդների, այլև հանրության համար: ՀՀ իրավապահ մարմինները ձեռնարկում են հնարավոր և հասանելի բոլոր միջոցները իրավիճակին խաղաղ հանգուցալուծում տալու համար, սակայն ստեղծված պայմաններում դա կարող է բավարար չլինել: Ուստի մեկ անգամ ևս հորդորում ենք զինված խմբի անդամներին ձեռնպահ մնալ նոր զոհերի և այլ ծանր հետևանքների հանգեցնող հանցավոր գործողություններից և դադարեցնել զինված դիմադրությունը: Դրա համար դեռ կա ժամանակ և հնարավորություն»:
