Ռեվանշիզմի վրա հիմնված քաղաքականությունն այն երկրնեում, որտեղ այն պետական գաղափարախոսության դեր է խաղում,  վաղ, թե ուշ բերում է տվյալ երկրում լուրջ ցնցումների և աղետի. խոսքը, մասնավորապես, վերաբերում է Ադրբեջանին, որը նման աղետից խուսափելու համար պետք է վերանայի իր պետականաշինության փիլիսոփայությունը: Ինչպես տեղեկ ացնում է«Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին ասել է ԼՂՀ նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանը՝ ռուսաստանյան Lenta.ru կայքի հետ հարցազրույցում:

«Ներկայումս հակամարտության գոտում իրավիճակը հարաբերականորեն հանգիստ է: Սակայն նոր պատերազմի հավանականությունը կախված է մի շարք հանգամանքներց: Ամենակարևոր զսպող հանգամանքը ԼՂՀ պաշտպանության բանակի մարտունակությունն է և համակարտության ուժային լուծման անընդունելիության հարցում միջազգային հանրության հստակ դիրքորոշումը: Բոլորի համար պարզ է, որ լայնամասշտաբ ու երկարատև պատերազմը կխթանի տարածաշրջանում ու ամբողջ աշխարհում ավելի մասշտաբային ճգնաժամերի առաջացմանը»,- ասել է ԼՂՀ նախագահը:

Բակո Սահակյանի համոզմամբ՝ հակամարտության լուծումը գտնելու համար առաջին հերթին անհրաժեշտ է վերականգնել բանակցությունների լիարժեք ձևաչափը՝ ԼՂՀ մասնակցությամբ, որպես լիիրավ կողմի: Նա հիշեցրել է, որ հենց այս ձևաչափն է 1994թ-ի Բուդապեշտի գագաթնաժողովում պաշտոնապես ընդունվել ԵԱՀԿ կողմից:

«Բացի այդ, նաև պաշտոնական Բաքուն պետք է վերանայի իր դիրքորոշումն ու մոտեցումները: Հենց Ադրբեջանի ապակառուցողական ու ռեվանշիզմի վրա հիմնված  քաղաքականությունն է հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորման ճանապարհի գլխավոր խոչընդոտը»,- հավելել է նա:
