Միլիարդատեր Դոնալդ Թրամփը հավաստել Է, որ պատրաստ Է քվեարկվելու ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ: «Ես երախտագիտությամբ եւ հարգանքով եմ ընդունում ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ քվեարկվելու՝ ձեր առաջարկությունը»,- ասել Է նա ԱՄՆ-ի Հանրապետական կուսակցության՝ ընթացող համագումարի պատգամավորներին, որն ավելի վաղ առաջադրել Էր նրա՝ որպես նախագահի թեկնածությո ւնը նոյեմբերին կայանալիք ընտրություններում:   

Թրամփը հավաքվածներին հավաստիացրել Է, որ լի Է վճռականությամբ հաղթելու ընտրություններում: «Մենք մեր կուսակցությանը կվերադարձնենք Սպիտակ տունը, իսկ մեր երկիրը հետ կտանենք դեպի անվտանգություն, բարգավաճում եւ խաղաղություն»- ասել Է նա՝ համագումարում ելույթ ունենալով ծրագրային ճառով:

Նա նաեւ հայտարարել Է, որ իր քաղաքականության կենտրոնում կլինի ամերիկանիզմը, այլ ոչ թե գլոբալիզմը: «Ամերիկանիզմն, այլ ոչ թե գլոբալիզմն Է մեր «հավատմաքը»,- ասել Է Թրամփը: Հանրապետականը նշել Է, որ երկրի 50 խոշորագույն քաղաքներում 70 տոկոսով աճել Է բռնությունը, 10 աֆրոամերիկացի երեխաներից շուրջ 4-ն ապրում Է աղքատության մեջ, 14 միլիոն մարդ կորցրել Է աշխատանքը: Ամերիկայում կոռուպցիան հասել Է աննախադեպ մակարդակի: 

Թրամփն ընդգծել Է, որ Ամերիկան «այլեւս այդպիսի քաղկոռեկտ չի լինի»: Նա նաեւ խոստացել Է պարիսպ կառուցել ԱՄՆ-ի ցամաքային սահմանին՝ միգրանտների հոսքը երկիր դադարեցնելու համար, հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքսը»:
