Հոռոմում դիմավորեցին հերոս զինվորին

Պարտադիր զինվորական ծառայությունն ավարտելուց հետո, հուլիսի 23-ին, հայրենի Հոռոմ գյուղ վերադարձավ ՊԲ շարքային Գևորգ Մանուկյանը: Գևորգին դիմավորելու էր եկել ողջ գյուղը: Հերոս Գևորգին՝  հոռոմցիները հերոսին վայել ընդունելություն էին կազմակերպել: 

Ապրիլի 2-ին լուսադեմին 6:45-ի սահմանում հակառակորդի ակտիվություն էր նկատվել, որի ժամանակ նրանց ուղղաթիռը՝ մոտենալով սահմանին, սկսել էր հրթիռներ արձակել մեր դիրքերի ուղղությամբ: Նկատելով ուղղաթիռը՝ Գևորգը զենքն անմիջապես  բերել է մարտական դիրքի և բարձրանալով դիրքերը, ընդունել է նպաստավոր մեկնարակային դիրք և  «Իգլայով» խոցել է հակառակորդի ռազմական ուղղաթիռը:

Կատարվածի համար Գևորգը ՀՀ ՊՆ կողմից արժանացել է «Արիության», իսկ ԼՂՀ ՊԲ-ի կողմից «Մարտական Խաչ Երկրորդ աստիճանի»  շքանշանների: Սակայն այսքանից հետո էլ հերոս տղան իրեն հերոս չի համարում, անկեղծանում է.

«Ես իմ կատարածը հերոսություն չեմ համարում, այլ զուտ պարտք, պատք՝ իմ հայրենիքի, իմ ընտանիքի, իմ ազգի հանդեպ: Շքանշաններն էլ՝  իմ համար պարտավորեցնող են»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց Գևորգ Մանուկյանը:

Որդու արիության մասին համեստաբար էին խոսում նաև ծնողները. հայրը՝ Հովհաննես Մանուկյանը, փաստեց. «Ես այսօր հերոսի չէ, որ դիմավորում եմ, այլ իմ զինվոր տղային: Թող իր հերոսական քայլը ժողովուրդը գնահատի: Իմ որդին մենակ չէր, իր ընկերների հետ էր՝ 18-20 տարեկան տղաների, ովքեր շատ բան ապացուցեցին»,-նշեց Հովհաննես Մանուկյանը:  Գևորգի մայրն  անկեղծանում է ՝ որդին քիչ է խոսում այդ օրերի մասին: «Դժվար է հիմա զգացմունքերս զսպել: Սա մի ուրիշ ուրախություն է, թող այս ուրախությունը բոլոր մայրերը զգան»,-հավելեց Ռիմա Մանուկյանը:Գևորգին առաջարկ ություն է եղել շարունակել զինվորական գործը, սակայն այս առաջարկի մասին Գևորգը մտածում է՝ դեռ նպատակ ունի շարունակելու ուսումը՝ ԵՊՀ-ի ուսանողը՝ նախ ցանկանում է լավ պատմաբան դառնալ: 

Գևորգին Հոռոմում ամենաշատը սպասում էին տանեցիները՝ հայրը,մայրն ու քույրերը: Հայրական տուն մտնելուց անմիջապես հետո տղան  գնում է գյուղի գերեզմաններ, որտեղ հուղարկավորված է ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի  զոհ դարձած իր համագյուղացին` ՊԲ պայմանագրային զինծառայողներ Տիգրան Մխիթարի Պողոսյանը (ծնվ. 1992թ.):
