Ներկայացնում ենք թերթի խմբագրականից մի հատված.

«Ինչպես արդեն բազմիցս ասվել է, այս իրավիճակը կարող է հանգուցալածվել երեք ձևով՝ ա/ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հրաժարական է տալիս (քիչ հավանական տարբերակ), բ/ զինյալները հանձնվում են, գ/ իրավապահներն ուժային գործողություններ են ձեռնարկում զինյալների նկատմամբ (ամենաանցանկալի տարբերակը)։ Բայց անկախ նրանից, թե այս երեք հնարավոր տարբերակներից որ մեկն է իրականության դառնալու, պիտի շատ ցավալի կանխատեսում անեմ. ՊՊԾ գնդի գրավման նման ակցիաները շարունակվելու են, և ամեն մի հաջորդը լինելու է ավելի վտանգավոր և ավելի ծանր հետևանքներով։

Առաջին տարբերակի դեպքում զինյալներն են լինելու իրավիճակի տերուտիրականը ՝ «մենք հանուն էս ազգի սենց բան ենք արել՝ մեր կյանքը դնելով զոհասեղանին, հիմա մենք ենք որոշելու...»։ «Իշխանափոխաթյունից հետո էլ մեր զենքերը վայր չենք դնելու,– շաբաթ օրն ասաց զինված խմբի անդամներից մեկը։– Վայր կդնենք այն ժամանակ, երբ իմանանք, որ իշխանություն ունենք, որը ծառայում է մեր ժողովրդին»։

Այս պարագայում հաջորդ «ՊՊԾ-ական» գործողությունը և, հավանական է, քաղաքացիական պատերազմը վրա կհասնեն  շատ  արագ։

Բայց ամբողջ ցավն այն է, որ երկրորդ և երրորդ տարբերակների դեպքում էլ, ըստ էության, նույնն է լինելու, գուցե մի փոքր ուշ։ Խնդիրն այն է, որ մեր իշխանությունը կորցրել է զգոնությունը, կորցրել է կյանքի զարկերակը և չի պատկերացնում դժգոհաթյան և ատելության մասշտաբները։

Այն փաստը, որ մեր քաղաքացիների մեծամասնությունը «իմունիտետ» չունի զինված քաղաքական պայքարի հանդեպ և սկզբունքորեն դեմ չէ «գյուլլելուն», «վառելուն» և «սատկացնելուն», պետք է որ ինչ-որ բան հուշի իշխանություններին։ Բայց, կրկնեմ, դրա համար իշխանությունը պետք է դեմքով շուռ գա դեպի դաժան, նախևառաջ՝ իր համար դաժան իրականությունը։ Քանի դեռ դա չի անում, էլի ի հայտ կգան խմբեր, որոնք գայթակղություն կունենան  հարցերը լուծել զենքի միջոցով»,–գրում է թերթի խմբագիրը։
