«Այն, որ մի օր մի խումբ մարդիկ զինված ապստամբության կգնան, տեսականորեն շատերն էին ենթադրում, բայց գործնականում ոչ ոք չէր պատկերացնում, որ այդպիսի բան տեղի կունենա։ Առավել ևս ոչ ոք չէր ենթադրում, որ թեկուզև փոքր մասշտաբով զինված ապստամբության այդ փորձը կստանա հասարակական այսպիսի լայն աջակցություն։ Դժվար է նմանատիպ իրավիճակի պատմական նախադեպեր գտնել։

Զինված ապստամբության նման աջակցության պատճառներից մեկը, անշուշտ, մեր երկրի սոցիալ-տնտեսական վիճակն է։ Չի կարելի, պարզապես հնարավոր չէ հասարակությանը անընդհատ պլպլացրած ցացանիշներ հրամցնել և փորձել համոզել, թե երկրի տնտեսությունը զարգանում է։ Հնարավոր չէ տնտեսություն զարգացնել մի երկրում, որտեղ կա և քաղաքական, և տնտեսական բացարձակ մենաշնորհ։ Եթե իշխանության բացարձակ մոնոպոլիան պատկանում է իրեն կուսակցություն համարող ՀՀԿ-ին, ապա տնտեսության մեջ մոնոպոլիան այդ նույն ՀՀԿ-ի շուրջ «համախմբված» մի խումբ մարդկանց ձեռքում է։ Թե իշխանության, և թե տնտեսության այս մոնոպոլիստների գործունեության ամբողջ նպատակն ու իմաստը այդ մոնոպոլիան պահպանելն ու հնարավորինս ընդլայնելն է։ Ու եթե ուսումնասիրենք իշխանության գործելակերպը տարիների կտրվածքով, կհամոզվենք, որ ստեղծված իրավիճակի հիմնական պատճառը հենց քաղաքական ու տնտեսական մոնոպոլիաները պահպանելու մոլուցքն է։

Ու ի՞նչ է ստացվամ արդյունքում։ 2.8 միլիոն բնակչության ունեցող Հայաստանում նույնիսկ պաշտոնական տվյալներով մեկ միլիոն աղքատ մարդ կա։ Մեկ միլիոն մարդ ամեն օր պայքարում է իր կենսաբանական գոյության՝ սոված չմնալու համար։ Իսկ մի շատ փոքր խումբ՝ ընդամենը մի քանի հազար մարդ, ապրում է, մեղմ ասած, ճոխության մեջ, անիմաստ, չպատճառաբանված ճոխության մեջ։ Իհարկե, որոշ մարդկանց թվում է, թե դա «կապիտալիզմի հետևանքն է»։ Իրականում, սակայն, դա հենց կապիտալիզմի պակասության հետևանքն է՝ շուկայական տնտեսության գերաղճատվածության արդյունք։ Շուկայական տնտեսության հիմնասյունը արդար մրցակցությունն է, ինչը Հայաստանում իսպառ բացակայում է, ու հենց դա էլ աղքատություն ծնող հիմնական պատճառներից է։

Նման իրավիճակում մեծանում է մի որևէ առիթով մարդկանց ընդվզելու հավանականությունը։ Որպեսզի այդ վտանգն էլ չեզոքացնի, իշխանության մոնոպոլիստը պետք է ստեղծի հզոր ոստիկանականություն և անհնազանդներին դաժանորեն պատժելու դատական համակարգ։ Հայաստանում երկուսն էլ կան։


Այն, որ խիստ սահմանափակ ռեսուրսներ ունեցող երկրում այս իրավիճակը երկար չի կարող պահպանվել, դա, կարելի է ասել, բխում է բնության օրենքներից։ Դա օրերից մի օր հանգեցնելու էր «պայթյունի», և այդ «պայթյունը» գուցե որոտացել է 10 օր առաջ»,–գրում է թերթը։
