2016թ-ի հուլիսի 28-ի դրությամբ Հայաստանից արտահանվել է 18 268 տոննա ծիրան` նախորդ տարվա նույն ժամանակահատվածի 20 160 տոննայի դիմաց:
Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, հայկական ծիրանը հիմնականում արտահանվել է Ռուսաստանի Դաշնություն, Վրաստան
և Բելառուս։
