Ժամանակներն առաջ են շարժվում, բարքերի նկատմամաբ ունեցած վերաբերմունքները խոնարհվում են, ժամանակակից միտումներն առաջ են գալիս և հարսնացու ընտրելու ավադական գործընթացը (հարսանացուին առաջին հերթին տղայի մորը ցույց տալու հայկական սովորույթ) հայ տղաների համար դառնում է որոշակիորեն երկրորդական և առավել հեշտ:
