«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «ՀՀ ոստիկանության ՊՊԾ գնդի տարածքը գրաված «Սասնա ծռեր» զինված խմբի գործողություններից երեկ ողջ օրվա ընթացքում այդպես էլ ոչինչ հայտնի չդարձավ, քանի որ նրանց հետ կապի բոլոր միջոցները վերացվել են, իսկ կապ ապահովող գործիչներն էլ` տարբեր պատճառաբանություններով ձերբակալվել: Ցերեկվա ընթացքում մի շարք բժիշկներ շարունակում էին «Սասնա ծռեր» զինված խմբի անդամներից պահանջել, որպեսզի նրանք ազատ արձակեն շտապօգնության երկու բժիշկներին եւ բուժքրոջը, որոնք արդեն երկրորդ օրն է՝ գտնվում են ՊՊԾ գնդի տարածքում: Սակայն կոչերը մնացին օդում:
Զինված խմբավորման անդամների ոչնչացումը թույլ չտալու նպատակով բողոքի ցույցն էլ երեկ տեղի ունեցավ Ազատության հրապարակում: Խորենացու փողոցում համեմատաբար անդորր էր: Ազատության հրապարակից, ի տարբերություն նախորդ օրերի, այս անգամ մարդիկ ուղեւորվեցին դեպի Բաղրամյան փողոց: Սակայն հորդառատ անձրեւի տակ հասնելով Ֆրանսիայի հրապարակ՝ Մաշտոցի եւ Սայաթ-Նովայի պողոտաների խաչմերուկ, մի առ ժամանակ կանգ առան եւ կրկին վերադարձան հրապարակ, ապա ցրվեցին՝ խոստանալով վերադառնալ: Տպավորություն է, որ հուլիսի 17-ից մեր երկրում ստեղծված իրավիճակը մի տեսակ «կանգ է առել»:
Նկատենք, որ հուլիսի 21-ին, երբ Արցախի հերոս Վիտալի Բալասանյանը միջնորդական առաքելությամբ Երեւան եկավ, իրավիճակը 2 օր անց փոխվեց. նախ՝ պատանդ մնացած ոստիկանները ազատ արձակվեցին, ապա՝ զինյալների սննդի հարցերը կարգավորվեցին, այնուհետեւ լրագրողների հետ հանդիպում կազմակերպվեց… Բայց երբ ինչ-որ ուժերի դրդմամբ Վիտալի Բալասանյանին փորձեցին դուրս մղել բանակցային գործընթացից, իրավիճակը դարձյալ մտավ փակուղի: Երկու օր է՝ երկու կողմերն էլ լռում են. ո՛չ ոստիկանական մեքենաներ են այրվում, ո՛չ էլ վիրավոր զինյալների մասին ենք լսում:
«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին տեղեկություններ հասան, որ արդեն երկու օր է՝ վերսկսվել են ակտիվ բանակցությունները իշխանության եւ զինյալների միջեւ: Դարձյալ պրոցեսը գտնվում է գեներալ Բալասանյանի ձեռքին: Փորձ է արվում համոզել «Սասնա ծռեր»-ին` հանձնվել իշխանություններին, որպեսզի բախումներ չլինեն եւ քաղաքակիրթ բանակցություններ սկսվեն՝ առանց զենքի:
Բայց մյուս կողմից էլ իշխանությունները պետք է երաշխիքներ տան միջնորդներին, որ զինյալները խիստ պատժիներ չեն կրի հանձնվելուց հետո: Ահա, այսպիսի բարդ իրավիճակ է, որի հանգուցալուծումը արդեն 13 օր է՝ չի գտնվում»:
