Երկրաշարժի մագնիտուդը գնահատվում է 5.2 բալ Ռիխթերի սանդղակով:
Ճշգրտում են, որ ստորգետնյա ցնցումների էպիկենտրոնը գտնվում է կղզու մեծությամբ երկրորդ քաղաքից՝ Խանյայից 100 կմ հարավ- արեւմուտք, 9 կմ խորության վրա, հայտնում է Gazeta–ն:
