Հայտնիները նախընտրում են շքեղ ավտոմեքենաներ, որոնք կընդգծեն տիրոջ կարգավիճակը, ինչպես նաև կտարբերվեն ճանապարհներին։ Շատ գործարարներ պատվիրում են մեքենաների թյունինգ, կամ նախապատվությունը տալիս են բացառիկ, ձեռքով հավաքած մեքենաներին։ Luxlux.net պորտալը պարզել է, թե ինչ ավտոմեքենաներ են կանգնած մոլորակի ամենահարուստ մարդկանց ավտոտնակներում։
Ցուցակում առաջին տեղը զբաղեցնում է բրիտանացի գործարար Թեո Պաֆիտիսը։ Նա Maybach 62 մեքենան գնել է ռեկորդային 56.6 մլն դոլարով։ Այս ավտոմեքենան համարվում է ամենաթանկն աշխարհում։ Արտաքին ու ինտերիերի որոշ հատվածներ պատված են դեղին ոսկով։ Գործարարն ասում է, որ Maybach-ը պաշտոնապես պատկանում է Theo Paphitis Charitable Trust բարեգործական հիմնադրամին։
Վերջերս Փարիզում նկատվել է Bugatti Veyron L’Or Blanc մեքենան, որը հայտնի է ճենապակե հատվածներով, ինչպես նաև արժեքով՝ 2.5 մլն դոլար։ Սակայն մինչ այժմ չի հաջողվել պարզել, թե ով է յուրօրինակ մեքենայի սեփականատերը։
Վերջերս բացառիկ և թանկարժեք Rolls-Royce Phantom մեքենայի տերն է դարձել Սաուդյան Արաբիայի արքայազն Ալվալիդ բին Թալալ Ալսաուդը։ Նա թյունինգի համար ծախսել է 477 հազ. դոլար։
Բիլ Գեյթսի ավտոտնակում տեղ է գտել Porsche 959 Coupe մեքենայի հատուկ տարբերակը, որը թողարկվել է սահմանափակ քանակով՝ 230 օրինակ։ Մեքենայի արժեքը 400 հազ. դոլար է։
Մոլորակի ամենահարուստ մարդը՝ Կառլոս Սլիմ Էլուն, շքեղ Bentley Continental Flying Spur մեքենայի սեփականատերն է։ Մեքենայի արժեքը 300 հազ. դոլար է։
Ըստ Forbes-ի՝ ԱՄՆ ամենահարուստ քաղաքական գործիչը՝ Նյու Յորքի 108-րդ քաղաքապետ, Bloomberg տեղեկատվական գործակալության համահիմնադիր Մայքլ Բլումբերգը հաճույքով վարում է իր Audi R8 մեքենան, որի համար վճարել է 120 հազ. դոլար։
