ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման մերժել է առաջիկա ամսվա ընթացքում հանդիպում անցկացնելու մասին Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի համառորեն արված հրավերը:

Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնում է թուրքական «Ջումհուրիեթ» թերթը:

Նշվում է, որ թուրքական Ինջիռլիք ռազմաբազան «Իսլամական պետություն» (ԻՊ) ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ հարվածների համար ամերիկյան օդուժի օգտագործմանը հանձնելուց հետո Էրդողանի անմիջական հրավերին Օբաման պատասխանել է. «Ոչ այժմ: Հանդիպել կարող ենք նոյեմբերին Անթալիայում անցկացվելիք G-20 գագաթաժողովի շրջանակում»:

Այս ամիս Վաշինգտոնում կամ սեպտեմբերին Նյու Յորքում ՄԱԿ-ի գագաթաժողովի շրջանակում հանդիպելու մասին Էրդողանի ցանկությանը Սպիտակ տունը պատասխանել է, որ դա հնարավոր է միայն Անթալիայում G-20 գագաթաժողովի շրջանակում' ԱՄՆ նախագահի «խիստ զբաղված» լինելու պատճառով:

Թերթը հայտնում է, որ այդ պատճառով Էրդողանը հրաժարվել է մեկնել ՄԱԿ-ի գագաթաժողովին: Նրա փոխարեն գագաթաժողովին Թուրքիան կներկայացնի վարչապետ Ահմեթ Դավութօղլուն:

Էրդողանն ավելի վաղ հայտարարել էր, որ ցանկանում է ԱՄՆ նախագահի հետ հանդիպել օգոստոսի վերջին Մերիլենդում մզկիթի բացման կամ սեպտեմբերին տեղի ունենալիք ՄԱԿ-ի գագաթաժողովի շրջանակներում, սակայն, նրա այդ խնդրանքը Վաշինգտոնը հարմար չի գտել:
