Իրանական միջուկային ծրագրի վերաբերյալ Գործողությունների համատեղ համապարփակ պլանը (ԳՀՀՊ) վստահության հարաբերությունների վրա չի կառուցվում: Օգոստոսի 2-ին ԱՄՆ-ի Պետդեպարտամենտի մամուլի ծառայության ղեկավար Ջոն Քիրբին այսպես Է մեկնաբանել Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության հոգեւոր առաջնորդ եւ ղեկավար այաթոլլա Ալի Խամենեիի ելույթը:  

«Այն (համաձայնագիրը) երբեք վստահություն չի ենթադրել: Այն ենթադրել Է ստուգում, համաձայնագրի կետերի կատարման ստուգման շատ խիստ կանոնակարգ,- պարզաբանել Է նա լրագրողների համար անցկացված ճեպազրույցում:

Քիրբիի խոսքով՝ Թեհրանը եւ համաձայնագրի մյուս մասնակիցները կատարում են իրենց պարտականությունները, եւ ինչպես ինքը հույս ունի, կշարունակեն կատարել դրանք:

Օգոստոսի 1-ին Խամենեին հայտարարել Էր, թե անցյալ տարի Իրանի եւ «վեցյակի» (ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի մշտական անդամները եւ Գերմանիան) միջեւ իրանական միջուկային ծրագրի վերաբերյալ կնքված համաձայնագիրը դարձել Է այն բանի հերթական ապացույցը, որ «թշնամիներին վստահել չի կարելի»:  

«Ոչ մի դեպքում թշնամիներին վստահել չի կարելի: Դրա հերթական օրինակը եւ համոզիչ ապացույցը դարձավ Գործողությունների համատեղ համապարփակ պլանը: Այսօր նույնիսկ այն դիվանագետները, ովքեր մասնակցել են (միջուկային համաձայնագրի կնքման) բանակցություններին, ընդունում են իրականությունը, այսինքն այն, որ ԱՄՆ-ը չի կատարում ստանձնած հանձնառությունները»,- նշել Է նա իրանական հասարակայնության հետ կայացած հանդիպանը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
