Երբ օգտվում եք հասարակական զուգարանից կամ անծանոթ վայրում եք հոգում ձեր բնական կարիքները, ապա ամեն կերպ ցանկանում եք խուսափել ավելորդ անգամ զուգարանակոնքի հետ ուղղակի շփումից և տեղի մանրէներին ձեզ վրա հավաքելուց։ Շատերը կարծում են, թե նստատեղը պատելով զուգարանի թղթով, ազատվում են այդ տհաճ երևույթից։ Բայց, որքան էլ զարմանալի է, նստատեղը զուգարանի թղթով պատելիս դուք ավելի եք վատացնում վիճակը։ Ի սկզբանե զուգարանակոնքերը նախագծված են այնպես, որ մանրէները, կոպիտ ասած, ուղղակի «սայթաքում են» դրա վրայից և չեն կարողանում կառչել։ Եվ ահա, երբ դուք թղթով պատում եք այն, նրանց համար կառչելու արհեստական հենարան եք ստեղծում։ Բացի այդ, ամեն անգամ ձեր կարիքները հոգալուց հետո, երբ քաշում եք ջուրը, օդի մեջ միլիոնավոր բակտերիաներ են հայտնվում, որոնց մի մասն էլ տեղ է գտնում հենց զուգարանի թղթի վրա։ Պատելով զուգարանակոնքը դրանով և նստելով վրան, դուք ուղղակիորեն նստում եք մանրէների վրա։ Եթե նկատած լինեք, գոյություն ունեն հատուկ այդպիսի թղթեր, որոնք հարմարեցված են հենց նստատեղի չափսով և պատրաստված են հատուկ թղթից, որոնց վրայից ևս մանրէները «սայթաքում են»։
