 Հայաստանի կոմունիստական կուսակցությունը դիմել է Ռուսաստանի կոմունիստական կուսակցության Կենտկոմի քարտուղարությանը՝ օրեր առաջ Հայաստանի հանդեպ Ժիրինովսկու ցուցաբերած վարքագծի քննարկման համար:ՀԿԿ Կենտկոմի առաջին քարտուղար Տաճատ Սարգսյանը անդրադարձել է օրեր առաջ Հայաստանի վերաբերյալ Վլադիմիր Ժիրինովսկու արտահայտություններին: Կոմունիստի խոսքով, հարկավոր է դատապարտել նրա վարքագիծը: Այդ նպատակով են կոմունիստները որոշել դիմել Ռուսաստանի իրենց գործընկերներին՝ Վլադիմիր Ժիրինովսկու վարքագիծը, որպես անլուրջ հայտարարություն, պետդումայում քննարկելու համար:

«Ո՞վ է Ժիրինովսկին: Ես նույնիսկ զարմանում եմ, որ Ռուսաստանում կան առանձին մարդիկ, ովքեր կապ ունեն Ժիրինովսկու հետ: Նա հեղհեղուկ մարդ է: Նա այն նույն մարդն է, ով ժամանակին հայտարարել էր, թե, իբր, Հայաստանի զորքը Հունաստանի զորքի հետ շուտով կմտնի Թուրքիա: Մենք էլ ստիպված դիմել ենք Ռուսաստանի կոմունիստական կուսակցության Կենտկոմի քարտուղար Զյուգանովին, ով Պետդումայի ֆրակցիայի ղեկավար է, որպեսզի Ժիրինովսկու վարքագիծը, որպես անլուրջ հայտարարություն, քննարկվի Պետդումայում»,- նշեց Տաճատ Սարգսյանը:

ՌԴ լիբերալ-դեմոկրատական կուսակցության առաջնորդ ՎլադիմիրԺիրինովսկին սենսացիոն հարցազրույց է տվել ռուսական հեռուստաալիքին, որի ժամանակ նշել է՝ «Թքած Հայաստանի վրա: Ո՞ւմ է պետք Հայաստանը: Այնտեղպարբերաբար ելույթներ կլինեն: Փոքր երկիր, լեռների մեջ, Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի միջև, ոչ մի հեռանկար, ոչ մի տնտեսություն: Այնտեղ արդեն միլիոն հայ էմնացել: Իսկ ողջ աշխարհում նրանք 6 միլիոն են: Բոլորը փախել են. Լիբանան, Իրան, Ռուսաստան, Ֆրանսիա, Միացյալ Նահանգներ: Այնտեղ ապրելու տեղչկա, լեռներ են: Հետ կվերցնենք բազան: Այդ բազան< i> նրանց փրկությունն է, այլապես նրանց կվերացնեն թուրքերն ու ադրբեջանցիները: Այդ իսկպատճառով Հայաստանի համար պետք չէ անհանգստանալ: Ադրբեջանն անմիջապես կգրավի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը, իսկ թուրքերը նրանց կօգնեն»:
