«Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցության նախագահ, ընդդիմադիր պատգամավոր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը չի մասնակցում Ազատության հրապարակում անցկացվող ամենօրյա հավաքներին, քանի որ ցանկություն չունի, առանց իշխանափոխության հստակ ծրագրի, «Երևանի փոքր կենտրոնում քաղաքացիների համար երթերի տեսքով էքսկուրսիաներ կազմակերպել»:
«Մենք չենք գա հրապարակ մինչև չունենանք առաջարկելու կոնկրետ ծրագիր: Հուլիսի 22-ին մենք առաջարկեցինք կոնկրետ ծրագիր, որի իրականանալու հավանականությունը, իմ գնահատմամբ, չափազանց մեծ էր: Չափազանց մեծ էր հավանականությունը, որ մենք դրա արդյունքում կկարոնանք հասնել Սերժ Սարգսյանի հրաժարականին: Բայց տեղի ունեցան ցավալի իրադարձություններ», - հայտարարեց նա:
Ֆեյսբուքյան ուղիղ հեռարձակմամբ պատասխանելով քաղաքացիների հարցերին՝ Փաշինյանը բացատրեց նաև, թե ինչու է երկրորդ անգամ հեռացել «Սասնա ծռեր» խմբավորման կողմից ՊՊԾ գնդի տարածքը գրավելուց հետո Խորենացի փողոցում մեկնարկած հավաքներից ու լքել հարթակը:
Նրա պնդմամբ, զինված խմբի անդամներն ու Ժիրայր Սեֆիլյանը նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հրաժարականը՝ որպես հիմնական պահանջ, հանել էին իրենց օրակարգից՝ թույլ տալով մարտավարական սխալ․ - «Մենք լքեցինք հարթակը, էդ ժամանակ արդեն պարզ էր, որ օրակարգի մեջ բան է փոխվել, և Սերժ Սարգսյանի հրաժարականը այլևս առնվազն առաջին կետում չէ, կամ այլևս օրակարգում դրված չէ այնպես, ինչպես դրված էր առաջին օրերին: Եթե հիշում եք, դա օրակարգի առաջին կետն էր, և մենք գնացել էինք՝ ասելու, որ մենք էս իրավիճակում տեսնում ենք էդ օրակարգը իրականացնելու հնարավորություն, պատրաստ ենք կազմակերպչական պատասխանատվություն ստանձնել դրա համար:
